Maya Garner, an acclaimed mathematician, collapses after a major victory and wakes up reborn in the 1980s as the child with the same name. When her brother, Oliver Garner, heads to the International Math Olympiad qualifiers, Maya tags along. Using her past-life math expertise, she delivers an epic smackdown to the mayor and the mayor's son, exposing their cheating to pass the qualifiers and advance to the city tournament.
