Caroline Sterling suffers from chronic weakness despite normal checkups. After Dr. Evans suggests she stop taking the medication from her husband, she recovers. Investigating secretly, she finds her husband, Marcus Preston, is having an affair with the nanny, Audrey Reed. The pair has been poisoning her to claim life insurance. Beating them at their own game, Caroline Sterling teams up with investor Julian Cross to set a trap. She turns Marcus and Audrey against each other, exposing their crimes. Finally, the culprits are arrested, Caroline Sterling finalizes her divorce, and her company successfully goes public.
