Violet gave seventeen of her life to her fated mate — Kaden Cross. She grew up by his side, devoting everything to him. But when the whole pack turns on her for being a "wolfless burden," Kaden is the one leading their attack, bullying Violet with her stepsister. Humiliated, devastated, betrayed, Violet opens her eyes and makes a choice. She breaks their mate bond and leave this monstrous place behind. The heir to the strongest pack in the realm, Sebastian, arrives to pick her up. His quiet, never-wavering trust is the one to coax her sleeping wolf awake. But right as Violet's about to break free and start again— the man that cast her out is the one on his knees, begging for her to come back.
