Three years ago, Professor Elias took in a homeless boy, Arthur. Three years later, Arthur has grown into a young man whose secret crush on his professor has become an obsessive pursuit, dragging Elias into a forbidden affair. Rejection, a vengeful fiancée, and university pressure push them to the brink. To save Arthur's future, Elias takes all the blame, resigns, and flees to the Atlantic coast.
