In I Slept With My Ex's Father, Olivia gets dumped by her boyfriend of three years, Lucas, after he claims that his father disapproves of their relationship. Drunk and desperate to reconcile, she knocks on his hotel room door and accidentally spends the night with Dylan Hill, the 32-year-old bachelor and Lucas's adoptive father.
Embarrassed about her mistake, Olivia puts their passionate encounter behind her and swears to avoid the Hill men for the sake of her peace of mind. Her dilemma is far from over because Dylan Hill has just signed a deal with the company where she interns. Coincidence? Probably not, especially when he keeps appearing in everything that concerns her.
Olivia tries her best to ignore Dylan's mixed signals. But the more she resists, the deeper her attraction grows. Can she truly love the man who allegedly ruined her relationship with Lucas without feeling remorse? Or are her feelings for Dylan a reflection of a much deeper wound she has yet to heal?
Characters
Olivia Lombardi
Olivia Lombardi is the female protagonist of I Slept With My Ex's Father. She's a hardworking college student who has too much emotional baggage to unpack. Even so, she never lets anyone else carry the burden of her inner turmoil. She faces her struggles head-on and overcomes them on her own.
Dylan Hill
Dylan Hill is a deeply misunderstood character. On the surface, he's the typical brooding billionaire who barely expresses himself. Once that mask falls off, a man who struggles to communicate his feelings emerges, revealing a soft side that only a few people get to see. Olivia is definitely at the top of that list.
Lucas
Lucas is the male antagonist whose actions lead to Olivia and Dylan Hill's eventual romance. He's a selfish, impulsive man who takes Olivia for granted because he thinks he can get away with it. But when Dylan puts his foot down, Lucas regrets every decision he has ever made.
