When Savannah's mother fell critically ill, her husband Beau delayed the promised transplant coordination to punish her. When she begged for their private jet to see her mother for the last time, he chose to attend his lover Cassidy's celebration instead. After her mother's death, Savannah signed separation papers, sold her personal assets, and anonymously handed over the Beaumont family's old land‑deal records to a non‑profit legal agency before leaving Charleston. Beau assumed Savannah could never leave him, until he found their home emptied and her phone deactivated. Savannah bought a ranch in Montana to start over and hired cowboy Cody for help. When the Beaumont land scandal broke, Beau chased her to Montana, begging her to suppress public outcry and showing up with Cassidy to cause trouble, only to be rejected. Dumped by Beau, Cassidy turned against him, providing evidence of his charity‑fund embezzlement and financial fraud. Beau was disowned by his family and imprisoned; Cassidy's career collapsed. Savannah visited her mother's grave, knowing she was finally living well.
