Nina Yeats, battling a debilitating illness, becomes entangled with a monster, Jack Xavier, while trying to fulfill her late mother's last wish. Exploiting her vulnerabilities, Jack seems inescapable, yet Nina refuses to yield. As the icy facade of this devilish figure begins to crack, Jack finds himself unexpectedly bending to Nina's will.
