Fairytale Fallout

Hi! My name is Adam Henry Garcia and I am an actor, video editor and producer. I have 4 Emmy's, 3 Indie Series Awards, 1 Webby, 1 Telly and a partridge in a pear tree. I love making independent streaming content which brings us to this submission: "Fairytale Fallout". It is a dark comedy show divided into parts and (hopefully) worth your valuable internet video watching time. Below is the official synopsis for the show. Thanks for taking a look!! --
Fairytale Fallout gives voice to numerous characters who have either been taken for granted or have been ignored entirely. In a series of short episodes this crafty and creative series tells the stories of those affected by classic fairytale characters, and not for the better. All of these characters are now, finally, being given the chance to speak... and they ALL have something to say. We are able to put names to faces that have barely been a background blur up until now and the results are downright dark-comedy gold! Filled with the bitter, the sweet, the high and the low... At the end of the day this show is a love letter to the ignored. An olive branch to the day player. A series for anyone who has ever felt relegated to the background of someone else's fairytale.*This entry is participating in the ReelShort Reel Vertical Impact contest

"What you bury always finds its way home"
There are stories told around every campfire. But some... are whispered by the dead. In the woods four teens huddle near a flickering fire, laughing off a local legend. But, the story of Clara, a girl who vanished without a trace... and who, they say, never left is real. A sketchbook. A whisper in the trees. A name spoken too loud. And all the sudden, something answers. As the flame dies down, the story begins. But this isn't a tale told by a campfire. It's Clara's story, and she's telling it. What unfolds is a haunting mystery unraveling across ten eerie, fast-paced vertical episodes. Through fog-drenched woods and claustrophobic hallways, we follow Clara - or who she once was - as her memory fractures and shadows twist into reality. She's desperate to uncover a truth that was buried with her body... and expose the betrayal that left her gasping for breath beneath the soil. The person she tried to save, only ends up causing her own life. Each episode deepens the dread as Clara slips between timelines between life and dead and others begin to feel her presence. The killer's sister draws rooms no one's shown her. Her brother, who we learn is behind it all, receives messages from the number of someone long dead. Polaroids fall from nowhere, capturing moments no one remembers posing for. And in the basement, something waits and memories lie. But this is more than a ghost story. It's about the weight of guilt, the danger of forgetting, and the legacy trauma leaves behind. Because Clara was never just one girl, and what happened to her, could happen again. When the campfire returns, we learn the story isn't over. It never was. *This entry is participating in the ReelShort Reel Vertical Impact contest

It remembers. It is a place where prayers and secrets mix where energy shifts the air and where the line between the living and the dead is always thin.
Her mother a polished politician and devoted believer sees the Botanica as a danger to her reputation and career. To her faith is something to control not something to live. Alina's cousin sees the Botanica differently. Beautiful ambitious and ruthless she believes it belongs to her. She is willing to turn family into an enemy to get it.
Alina finds herself standing between two women who both want to decide who she is. But the Botanica has its own plans.
Her closest friends are the only people she can trust. Mateo can see and hear spirits that move through the city voices that echo from the past into the present. Tesen can sense things before they happen reading energy and danger in the space around her like instinct. Together they uncover that the Botanica is not just Alina's inheritance. It is a gate to something ancient powerful and alive.
As Alina starts to unlock her connection to this power she learns the truth about her bloodline. She is a Santera part of a tradition her mother worked her entire life to bury. The realization forces Alina to choose between the world she grew up in and the one that calls to her through the walls of the Botanica.

The more she learns about the Botanica the more she realizes her family has been protecting something far greater than money or legacy. Each episode peels back another layer of who she is revealing a woman caught between love and danger tradition and rebellion faith and freedom.
SANTOS The Book of Alina is emotional bold and visually charged. It blends the raw honesty of Euphoria the intensity and danger of Queen of the South and the dark wonder of Pans Labyrinth.
It is a story about power survival and the cost of remembering who you are. In this world candles burn like warnings saints and spirits walk side by side and the past never stays buried.
The Botanica becomes Alina's battlefield and her sanctuary. It is where she faces the truth about her family her own reflection and the power she carries in her blood.
But this is just the beginning. The first fourteen episodes tell the story of her awakening. Beyond them lies a fifty episode saga that explores how far Alina will go to protect what is hers how deep the roots of her power run and what happens when a generation that was told to forget finally decides to remember.
SANTOS The Book of Alina is a story of legacy and rebirth. A world where magic hides in plain sight where faith can be dangerous and where one woman's awakening can change everything.
