Late at night, the rain poured down relentlessly. Susanna, a 30-year-old beauty of Asian descent, dressed in a striking green slip dress with her long hair neatly up in a bun, accepted an invitation from her good friend Lina to attend a party. She stepped into an ancient castle steeped in the dense, old-world atmosphere of the Victorian era--yet what awaited her was far from an ordinary gathering.
Before fully settling into the party, Susanna stepped away to touch up her makeup in the restroom. But when she returned to the main hall, the scene before her froze her to the spot: in the center of the party, a werewolf clad in a white wedding dress stood prominently, surrounded by several other werewolves dressed in formal suits. A bizarre, menacing aura hung heavy in the air. In the next instant, the white-wedding werewolf snapped its head around, locking eyes directly on Susanna -- and a creepy, unsettling smile curled at the corner of its mouth.
Terror surged through Susanna. She spun around and fled in a blind panic. In her desperate rush, she stumbled into a display room -- and what she saw there chilled her to the core. The glass cabinets were lined with countless items, each one belonging to a previous victim who had been tricked into coming to the castle. Then her gaze fell on an empty glass cabinet, and her blood ran cold: the nameplate on it clearly read Susanna. She finally realized -- she was the werewolves' next offering for their dark ritual.
Driven by instinct to survive, she kept running, only to back into a corner. She grabbed the door handle, yanking with all her strength, but the door wouldn't budge an inch. Behind her, the sound of the white-wedding werewolf's footsteps grew louder and closer. In the end, it pounced fiercely on the helpless Susanna. This ancient Victorian castle was never a venue for parties -- it was a horrifying trap, where werewolves lured humans one by one to fulfill their grim, bloodthirsty offering.*This entry is participating in the ReelShort Reel Vertical Impact contest
