Alpha Derek storms into Chloe's empty cabin, demanding she take the blame for Selena again. He doesn't know Chloe, his rejected mate, died three years ago after he forced Selena's crimes onto her. Her ghost watches him threaten her dead sister, believe Selena's lies, and finally uncover the truth: Chloe lost her Healer title, Zoe lost her medicine, and both sisters died because Derek chose the wrong woman. Now he can expose Selena and clear Chloe's name, but he can never bring his mate back.
