Lily Hope is sold to an underground casino by her gambling-addicted father. The casino is secretly owned by Raven, the most powerful mafia boss in the world. Expecting to die, Lily is stunned when Raven gives her two choices: marry him or die. She chooses marriage.
Raven has met her long ago—she has always been the only light in his dark world. Shortly after the wedding, he leaves on business and arranges for Lily to work at RS, his company. Her first assignment: test a new AI lifestyle assistant. Due to a technical error, the AI’s account is never added to her contacts. Coincidentally, Raven adds her using an account with a black profile picture. Mistaking him for the AI, Lily begins testing its features. When she asks for a picture of a man’s six-pack abs, the request lands on Raven’s phone. Assuming his innocent wife is flirting, the feared mafia boss abandons a boardroom full of shareholders, rushes to the restroom, and sends her a photo of his own abs.
As Lily unknowingly teases him with increasingly flirtatious messages, Raven falls hopelessly in love. He cancels all business and flies home—only to discover Lily is in grave danger.
