The Sadness Knows No Boundaries plot is heartbreaking. We are introduced to Paul Hasting, who prioritized lunch with his employee and mistress Amber Vickers over paying attention to his daughter Kayla.
Charlotte, noticing her daughter’s trouble in breathing, asked her husband to get her to the hospital. Instead, she was dropped off the road with their daughter Kayla as Paul Hasting left to check on Amber. Why? Because there was a terrorist attack and bombing on the street.
With Kayla’s asthma getting worse, Charlotte rushed her to the hospital. But all the rooms available were occupied, with no doctors available to check on Kayla. The last available doctor and room was given to Paul’s mistress Amber.
Imagine her husband being the owner of the hospital and still no doctor to see his dying kid. With Kayla’s condition getting worse, Charlotte demanded Paul to get her a doctor, but in return, she gets kicked out.
