The White family of Goodbye My Brothers movie had a generational tradition. They were the most influential family of Capital City and ran businesses across international boundaries. The business world only knew them by name, but in individual appearance, only the head of the family was renowned.
Because building their generational wealth didn’t come easy, they’d blessed a tradition at the monastery. When an heir is born, be it male or female, they were to be sent away from the family until they became 25. During the years when they’re away catering for themselves, if they lived well and became productive, they could come into their inheritances on their 25th birthdays.
This was to make sure they had competent hands to handover the family affairs. The business world wasn’t a place for the weak and the White family preferred to remain generationally wealthy. Many years had passed and the White family continued to observe this tradition. But in this century, it was a heiress and not an heir who was born.
It was easier for the Whites to abandon their males for the given period of time and had even lost about two sons who didn’t pass the test over the years. But it was most difficult to totally abandon a female. Her given name was Zoe Jones. She was born to the first son of grandpa White. Zoe Jones was the first female lead of Goodbye My Brothers movie. She was the grandchild and heiress of the White family. They owned thriving businesses and were respected among the rich.

Wendy Jones

Mr and Mrs Jones had only been blessed by three male children, and Mrs. Jones had seriously desired a girl child. Adopting Wendy had made her happy, but that was until the illness that had taken her husband found its way to her.
By the time Zoe arrived in the Jones family castle, Mr. Jones had been long dead and the family was now being run by Zack —the first heir. Wendy loved the Jones family, the adoption had come with the full package of a luxurious home and every other things that came with rich people. Unbeknownst to the Jones children, Wendy was a canker-worm.
Zack, Yates and Carl Jones
Zack was the first son and present leader of the Jones family. This was a serious burden to carry, but he was wise and trusted his instincts and as a result avoided mistakes. He’d been the one to receive a certain Zoe into the Jones family. Yates was the second son and Carl the third. The Jones boys preferred Wendy over Zoe. This should have been understandable as Wendy was the first to be absorbed, but things had gradually gotten out of hand.
Wendy didn’t like Zoe for many reasons, to her, she’d come to compete for her place in the order of things and that wasn’t to be taken lightly. She had the boys dancing to her tunes and was never out of ideas as to how to manipulate them. It is most unfortunate to report that the boys were blinded by her drama and as a result, were cruel to Zoe. But what happened when they threw her out?

It was a day to Zoe Jones’s 25th birthday. By now, she’d lived with the Jones family for ten long years. It wasn’t rosy at all, as Wendy regularly went out of her way to make sure she experienced hell every day of her living with them. But understanding she was being tasted, Zoe continued to endure Wendy until now. After Mrs. Jones’s burial, her expensive belongings had been left in her room.
But this morning, Zoe walked into Wendy trying to steal some pearls. And because she’d been caught, she began attempting to destroy the jewelry instead. But because Zoe treasured the memory of a woman who could raise the kind of children like Zack, Carl and Yates, she began to reprimand Wendy. Only to be beaten and almost choked to death by her.

During the fight Wendy who was fast playing everybody in the family began to hear sounds that could only mean the return of the Jones boys. She stopped choking Zoe, helped her to her feet, gave herself a slap and fell to the ground. Zoe was trying to recover her breathing and was shocked by Wendy’s actions only for the boys to walk in on them. Wendy pretended she’d been hit by Zoe.
All the boys automatically took her side. This had been the order of affairs over the ten years Zoe had lived in the Jones mansion. They began to shout at her, ordered her to apologize to Wendy and when she insisted she hadn’t done anything wrong, they threw her out and left her to sleep in the cold. But Zoe had completed her test successfully and the Whites family were already on their way.
