Madeleine Rocha-Barnette as Mara Azor
Introducing Madeleine Rocha-Barnette, the leading cast member of the Alpha Mate Unchained movie. Born in South Dakota and raised in Texas, Madeleine holds a BFA in Theatre Performance and an MFA in Acting. She has worked in films, theater, and as a voiceover artist.
Madeleine Rocha-Barnette previously starred in “Audrey In Full Bloom” and “Claimed By The Alpha I Hate” on ReelShort. In this latest ReelShort vertical movie, she plays Mara Azor.
Mara was the alpha princess belonging to the Azor territory who was killed by Alpha Boris. He was after Mara too, but she was saved by Rowan Greythorne, who stripped away her alpha princess identity and made her live as a servant for years.

Actor and writer Kelly Tappan plays the antagonist role in the Alpha Mate Unchained ReelShort movie. She was the fake Luna picked by Rowen to protect his fated mate, Mara. However unaware of Mara’s true identity or Rowan’s love for her, Selene took matters into her hands when she decided to brutally hurt Mara.

Part 2: Fated Mate vs. Fake Luna—Introducing The Alpha Mate Unchained Plot
Alpha Mate Unchained plot begins with Alpha Boris all set to mate with the eighteen year-old Mara Azor. She had just found her wolf when she was made to be the bride to the alpha who had ruined her pack and killed her parents.
From once an alpha princess to now living as a servant, Mara’s identity was discovered by Alpha Borris. Hence he had killed his reigning Luna to mate with Mara. With his wild reputation, the noble’s daughters weren’t willing to be the alpha’s bride; hence, Mara was tied up to become Alpha Boris’s luna.
But before Alpha Boris could claim Mara Rowan Greythorne, Boris’s son arrived. He was willing to challenge his father’s claim to save Mara. This led to an intense fight where Rowan defeated his father and killed him to take over the throne as the new alpha king.
However this wasn’t the first time Rowan had saved Mara. When Boris had attacked Azor territory and ordered Rowan to kill the alpha princess, he had lied about Mara being dead. He also had hidden her among the peasants to keep her safe.
With Mara finally turning eighteen and getting her wolf, Rowan was all set to claim Mara, his fated mate. But Mara, despite their mate bond pull, refused to be mated with her enemy’s son. The Greythorne family was the reason Mara had lost everything.
