Married to Jonathan, she stepped down from her chairwoman title and became a housewife and a stay-at-home mother for her daughter Olivia. For twenty-five years Anne was happy, clearly never once regretting her career choices, which she gave up for her family. During her marriage, she was also the ghostwriter for her husband’s novels.

Husband’s Betrayal
Anne Roy believed marrying Jonathan Asher was the best decision of her life until she was exposed to his affair in the When Wife Won’t Forgive movie. On their twenty-fifth anniversary, Jonathan Asher was out having an affair with Lilianne Villanova at a Reelplay concert and was caught live during a kiss cam.
With video of her husband’s affair and his mistress’s belongings in his bag, Anne was heartbroken to realize Jonathan had broken their vows. As she confronted him, Jonathan tried to twist his affair back on Anne. He called her crazy and said that his affair was her fantasy.
He kept looking down on Anne for how she was a housewife, unlike him, the upcoming CEO of Roy Publishing House. But the worst betrayal for Anne came from her daughter Olivia. Not only did Olivia justify and support her father’s affair, but she also destroyed Anne’s manuscripts that proved she had ghostwritten for Jonathan.
With Jonathan’s affair exposed, Anne uncovered her family’s true colors. But fearing Anne’s fightback, Jonathan and Olivia planned to make Anne the bad guy by accusing her of cheating first and after half of Jonathan’s assets.

As Jonathan’s mistress Lilianne Villanova moved in, Anne was kicked out with all her bags packed by the door. But Anne wasn’t going to leave before revealing how they had fumbled big.
As the new chairwoman of the Roy Publishing House, Anne was ready to rescind Jonathan’s CEO title, fire Lilianne, and make sure she never worked in the publishing industry. And for her daughter Olivia, Anne made sure she could never gain again by using the Roy name.
