Queen of the Court plot opens with Lily Pearson breaking the world record to become the youngest Grand Slam Winner. Known for her powerful serves, Lily became the queen of the court and the number one female tennis player.
While at the peak of her career, Lily, instead of chasing her Wimbledon dreams, chose retirement as she announced she would be retiring from tennis as an athlete to coach her boyfriend, Adam Parker.
Lily and Adam Parker had been dating. With Lily’s mother needing surgery, Lily was financially struggling when Adam had sacrificed his match winnings to save Lily’s mother. Moved by Adam’s gesture followed by his proposal to marry her, Lily had decided to step away from the limelight to support Adam.
With Lily turning into a coach for Adam, he soon became the world’s number two tennis star among the male players. But their decade-long engagement had turned loveless. It was evident that Adam had been cheating on Lily and had failed as her fiancé. Yet Lily had stayed in the relationship just because she owed Adam for his help in saving her mother.
