Part 1: Introducing the Storyline of The Art of Letting Go movie
Olivia of The Art of Letting Go movie, was a good looking young woman who had gotten married to the love of her life. Because the decision to become a wife came with many changes, Olivia had quickly transformed from a high flying, constantly busy workaholic into an understanding wife who cared for nothing but only to please her husband. This was not unusual for women…
As some have been known to even quit their high demanding jobs to become simple housewives after marriage. Therefore, Olivia wasn’t doing too much when she started to get into the character of a supportive wife. But while all the required efforts expected of married people were left for only Olivia to imbibe, Henry, her husband continued to behave like a single man.
As a married man, he would receive the opportunity to finally make do with a promise he made to a dear family which was close to his parent’s family before his marriage. This family had a wayward daughter, who was constantly prone to getting into trouble. Her name was Chloe and she was presumably having one of her numerous tough times, and had reached out to Henry.
In his acts of gallantry, Henry had forgotten what was required of him as a man who’d gotten married. In less than a few weeks after Chloe resurfaced in their life, he would be constantly seen in her company at the same places he used to frequent in the company of his wife. To him, there were no intentions whatsoever as concerning the young lady, but Chloe was desperate.
The danger in being just friends with an opposite sex was usually the feelings that may develop, and in Chloe Thompson’s case, she was having a serious problem which she needed a husband to cover. Therefore, while Henry continued to pretend he was taking care of her only to keep his promise to her parents, Chloe had more intentions up her sleeves, as she was pregnant.
Olivia had allowed her husband some space. It had been five years into the marriage and he’d never given her a suspicious reason to worry. But on the night of their marriage anniversary, he would return to his matrimonial home on the shoulders of another woman. And thus, the door to challenges was opened and Olivia Lloyd would find herself fighting desperately for her life and marriage.

Who is Olivia?
Olivia Lloyd was the main character of The Art of Letting Go movie. She was a woman of about twenty eight years old, exceptionally pretty and an understanding house wife. Olivia had met her husband two years after graduating from college and working as an executive in a multinational company. Even though she was a workaholic, she’d mellowed down to become a good wife.
Olivia trusted her husband very much, she wasn’t the type of women who stalked their men. Who would even go through their phones and make trouble when they refuse to be accountable. It was because she trusted Henry that she didn’t try to stop him when he became all about a certain Chloe and the promise he must keep. But little did she know trouble was desperate.
This was their five years wedding anniversary and she had cooked his favorite meals, decorated the bedroom and dressed in his favorite nightwear. It had been a few months since Chloe resurfaced, and she’d gotten accustomed to her husband returning late at nights. But today, he did not return at the usual 10pm. While she continued to wait, he would return together with Chloe.
Who is Henry?
Henry Lloyd was the male lead of The Art of Letting Go movie. Henry was a very handsome young man. He was the type of men who turned heads when they entered a room. He was tall, well chiseled and attractive. He was also a good husband to Olivia, at least, until the trouble that came dressed like a woman surfaced. The problem was that Henry wasn’t ready for marriage.
Because he hadn’t prepared nor had he made up his mind before going into a permanent relationship with Olivia, his wife, he continued to make decisions like a single young man. He was quick to answer in the positive, when Chloe called with demands befitting only a single young man. In his bid to fulfill his promise to her parents, he would become a pun in her game.
It had been months attending to her every need, running at the sound of her troubled voice and doing all the heavy lifting… little did he know that she’d found out today was his wedding anniversary. She’d been looking for ways to engineer trouble in his union so as to single him out for herself and this was a ripe opportunity. She’d gotten him drunk and taken him home to confront his wife.

When the White Flame Dwindled
Love is said to have many stages. One of the stages of love is the one known as the white flame love. This was usually the stage where couples decide to get married and live a happy ever after, or at least, until death did them part. When love grew to the extent of white flames, it was expected to be unquenchable as white flames were perceived as severe.
In The Art of Letting Go movie, we would understand that the white flame can flicker. It was evident that such a stage of love was not entirely invincible as perceived. Because Olivia and Henry would discover there are challenges that could all together quench the rhetorically unquenchable. As Henry Lloyd had forgotten every promise he made at the alter.
Chloe Thompson’s Trap
Because Henry had forgotten his vows, he would be available when a certain Chloe reached out to him requesting for a certain help, which she cemented with the promise of the willingness to disappear completely after she got back on her feet. The unsuspecting Henry, if we’re to believe he was naive, would run to the rescue of a woman who was not his wife.
Now, while Henry pretended to not understand the rules that governed relationships between a man and a woman, Chloe was solidly sure of what she was doing. That Henry had agreed to come to her even though he was married was all she needed. She would twist and turn the sudden reunion into a weapon that would destroy his marriage.
The Consequence Negligence
Henry was running around for Chloe Thompson. He was leaving his wife behind and dedicating the hours of every day to this woman. He became so roped into her activities that Olivia started to live like every other single young ladies. His automatic response became directed to this mysterious anomaly.
This was until Chloe found her way into his matrimonial home, where she seized the opportunity to challenge his wife and make her intentions indirectly known to her. A challenge that would have Chloe pushing her into a moving vehicle and subsequently accusing Henry of being responsible for her pregnancy.
