There was a family in Florida known as the Kaplan Family. This family was so wealthy that they lived in one of the few ancient castles that made up the landmarks of the city. Among there assets were high rising business buildings, luxury car production and a little bit of oil. They were even rumored to own the Empire State Building. Now, the first son of this family had a daughter.
She was also the only child and therefore, heiress of the Kaplan estate. She’d originally been schooling abroad but had gotten into some trouble, when her fake friends committed a crime and set her up. She’d returned to Florida and decided to make serious changes to her former lifestyle. This was a new school year and she’d been accepted into a school within the city.
Today was the first day of school and her new year’s resolutions included that she start hiding her identity, picked out her own clothes, tied her own shoes, shopped at the thrift store so as to not dress too outstanding and begin to ride a thrift bicycle to and from school.
