Part 1: What Are The Themes & Stories We See From Watching The Father’s Sin Full Anime Episodes?

Themes

The Father’s Sin anime drama involves the wealthy Coleman family living in their mansion. The Coleman elder has lived comfortably here while discussing the future of his grandchildren.

James Coleman is supposed to marry the orphan his grandfather brought inside the house. The orphan’s name is Sophie, and we can sense the sadness and tragedy in her family background.

Sophie had lost her grandparents and parents by the time she arrived at the Coleman family estate. Back then, everybody but James was nice to her.

Kathleen might be James’ younger sister, but she cares about Sophie. She is also present when Sophie scrolls over James’ Instagram just to find out about his first love’s pregnancy.

Plots

The Father’s Sin Dailymotion Episodes Plots

The Father’s Sin vertical drama plots start when Sophie and James Coleman’s marriage has reached the seventh year. By this time, James has shown his mean, heartless, and hateful nature.

James thought he shouldn’t agree with his grandfather’s marriage setups. So, he starts blaming Sophie for their twin daughters’ seeming runaways. James also accuses Sophie of stealing his younger sister’s and grandfather’s trust and talking trash about them.

Furthermore, James weaponizes Sophie’s loneliness, hunger for love, and powerlessness. The bedroom isn’t the only silent witness to how James restricts Sophie’s movements.

Instead, James also tortures Sophie’s emotions through his Instagram post. Sophie discovers it while she and James’ younger sister, Kathleen, wait for the twins’ cremation at the hospital.

The Instagram post shows James partying hard with the crowd to celebrate Emily Green’s pregnancy. Emily is James’ first love, so she becomes the center of James’ world even in his marriage to Sophie.

James even shows kindness that he never shows to Sophie and the twins when it comes to Emily. Instead of accompanying Sophie after the camp’s cases, he accuses Sophie of making up stories of the kids’ deaths.

Part 2: What Can We Expect To See In The Father’s Sin Novel’s Chapters’ Themes & Plots?

Right now, we haven’t seen the PDF version of The Father’s Sin novel. So, keep reading to see how we will predict the differences:

Themes

The Father’s Sin Novel Read Online Themes

The Father’s Sin novel likely emphasizes Sophie and James Coleman’s arranged marriage since childhood. Additionally, Sophie and James’ grandfathers are BFFs in the warzone, just like the full animated version.

However, we expect the book to dig deeper into the grandfathers’ and Sophie and James’ twins’ backstories. Chapter 2 is where we expect the flashback moments to occur. We continue to see the same patterns as we unlock 2-3 more book chapters.

In the book, Sophie’s grandfather might be the close combat expert, which complements the Coleman elder’s long-range weapon expertise. Not only do they exchange skills and battle positions, but they also promise to have their offspring’s marriage someday.

That being said, Sophie’s mother, Anna, used to be the BFF of Sophie’s father, Louis, before their marriage. Louis’s presence in the Coleman family creates a forbidden love dynamic. Meanwhile, their wealth gaps are subject to James’ ridicule, especially when Emily arrives.

Plots

The Father’s Sin Novel Read Online Plots

We predict that The Father’s Sin Novel Chapter 1 portrays Sophie and James Coleman’s twins’ love for their parents. In the vertical drama version, they are proud that James is the most handsome father in their kindergarten.

Instead of commenting on how James looks, we believe the kids also know James is a good father. At least, that’s who James is, and his younger sister, Kathleen, also loves him dearly.

The middle parts of Chapter 1 might highlight how James’s first love, Emily Green, returns from overseas. At this point, we believe the book will narrate how Emily studies everything about Sophie.

She dresses up just like Sophie while faking her pregnancy. Meanwhile, she weaponizes James’s remaining feelings for her.

Her alluring clothes and tantrum treatments when it comes to Sophie’s twins cause James to show his actual face. In the book version, we can also expect Emily’s more active contribution to James’ life through her manipulative encouragement.

She can start by encouraging him, whom she has brainwashed for a long time, to post on Instagram. Meanwhile, she plants the idea of a behavior correction camp in James’ mind. That’s how they conspired to throw away Sophie’s twins!

Part 3: How Will The Novel Version Of The Father’s Sin Complete Our Understandings Of The Anime Version?

The Father’s Sin Anime Reviews

We believe the novel version of The Father’s Sin vertical drama will call out everyone’s backstories. In other words, we get to see the details of how the behavior correction camp became Sophie’s hell.

We can think of the behavior correction camp as an unlicensed psychiatry ward. The doctor will make a visit once a month for random patients. Unlike a regular ward, they don’t have signs with the names. Consequently, it’s hard for ride-hailers to find the exact address.

Yet, Sophie’s bravery, resilience, and love for her twins cause her to wander alone until she finds the ward. Unlike the anime version, which shows Kathleen’s upfront nature, Kathleen waits in her bedroom while Sophie searches for her twins.

At the same time, Kathleen gathers everything, including the Instagram posts James and Emily make. When the time comes, she presents to Sophie how James has cheated and partied hard while leaving the twins dead.

Sophie trusts Kathleen’s judgment, just like she does in the movie version. Yet, she knows that one more word coming from her mouth, and James will beat her up.

The novel version of this newly-launched anime series on ReelShort will complete our understanding of James’ change of heart. More precisely, the novel portrays Emily’s dialogues and more active contributions.

Will the problems be more than the twins’ recklessness in spilling the wine on Emily’s haute couture gown? We will know for sure when the novel version has been released!
