She was raised in a small village in Texas and had met a young man named, Tristan Wilson, who did construction work for the Preston Group of Companies. The company had just started in Texas and the young man worked on contracts.
They’d shared a life together, where they cohabited in the small house her parents had left to her following their demise. It was here that Maria got pregnant and after two months postpartum, Tristan’s work was done and he would take her along to California, where the Wilson family lived.
