That’s because the cheerleading coach wishes to grant Poppy another chance at the state competition. Still, Poppy doesn’t make it; not only does she commit 17 absences, but her GPA is also below standards.
Instead of taking responsibility, Poppy corners Ivy, who tries to explain how she doesn’t make it. In doing so, she lets Asher send his press team over to the school. The press then forces the Principal to publicize the disciplinary meeting’s hearing.

Two Sisters Two Paths becomes something that’s even more evident for Ivy and Poppy in the end. No matter what happens, Ivy never resorts to Poppy’s level of lying and bullying others.
In the end, not only does she make friends at school, but she can also get out of the Lockwood family. We can only wonder what she does with her adoptive family’s fortune. Yet, we know she earns whatever she wants through hard work.
Yet, Poppy stops her just as she’s about to make her first move out. Here’s where she once again tries to push her. Meanwhile, she not only pretends her 2-month pregnancy with Asher’s baby. Instead, she also tries to fabricate stories about her miscarriage.
As for the latter, that’s what she tries to tell Asher when he chooses to help Ivy. As for Asher, he finally sees through Poppy’s lies when Ivy tells him to meet Poppy.
That’s when Poppy’s doctor tells her that she isn’t even pregnant. Now that Asher knows Poppy lies, he beats her up until she stabs him.
Still, Asher’s acts of beating Poppy up aren’t enough for Ivy to forget what he has done. Instead, she effortlessly goes on with her life after she visits Poppy in prison.
No matter how she convinces Poppy that she never competes with her, Poppy still refuses to work on her jealousy. That’s why she throws a tantrum at the end, even though Ivy has ended her calls.

She doesn’t have to throw a tantrum or keep herself busy for other people’s approval. The only thing she does is to be mindful of her instincts about the toxic Lockwood family.
The previous episodes have revealed how she sheds tears upon knowing that her new adoptive parents don’t care for her. We can relate to her sadness, for that’s also what many of us feel before further realizations.
The ending even shows something Ivy never asks for. That’s for the Lockwood family, whom she has cut ties with, to set her up with a random 80-year-old grandfather.
One of the unique and admirable things we find about Ivy is that she has predicted these things to happen. Such things motivate her to never look back despite Asher’s acts of begging for her return.
