Part 1: Rustblade Witcher Novel Summary

Rustblade Witcher novel tells from the perspective of Sir Edmund , an ambassador of a fantasy kingdom named Aurelia. He’d gotten married to the lady of a noble home and together they were guardians of the north. They were assigned a good number of knights every year and all continued to be well. But Sir Edmund and the entire northern province desired an heir. Having children had turned out to be the most difficult challenge facing the young couple and after a few years of waiting, Lady Cecilia got pregnant.

With joy and merriment she was nursed until her water broke. Even though the Kingdom had heard about Rustblade Witcher, they believed them to be a class of monsters that were also detrimental to the well-being of the kingdom. To have them, back then, was bad-luck and any family that kept them after birth were executed. The babies were easily remarked with flaming golden eyes…

And as the news reached the halls that the lady had given birth, it was with euphoria that Sir Edmund hurried to the labor room to welcome his son. But he was hit with disappointment as he’d fathered an abomination. The child was glowing, looked very healthy and weighty, but he was branded a monster, carelessly thrown to the ground and eventually condemned to death.

His father lifted his fragile body in his arms and headed to the evil mountain where such babies were designated to be discarded. Without listening to his wife’s desperate pleas, Sir Edmund cast the baby into the abyss. But the immortal Gregor had waited for ages for such occurrences, and alas, there was one on the way. He rescued the baby, trained him in the ways of a witcher…

He also warned him to not brandish his sword, except if it was necessary. But what happened after he returned to a war between the Templars and the Radiant Order?

Part 2: What Stories Can We Get In Rustblade Witcher Novel?

Chapter 2:

In Chapter 2 of Rustblade Witcher novel, Sir Edmund had hurriedly retrieved the monster baby from his wife, Lady Cecilia, and opened a portal. This portal led directly to the evil mountain. She was heart broken. She ran after him immediately and when she couldn’t access his portal, she opened one of her own. But before she could grab her husband’s hands, he threw the monster baby over the mountain top.

The base of the abyss was covered in a dark looking ocean. This ocean was home to different aquatic monsters including krackens, water snakes, dangerous fishes and monstrous octopuses. The baby’s glowing body had fallen way out of sight before Sir Edmund grabbed his wife and returned to Aurelia. What they didn’t notice was the white haired man standing on a small stony island.

Chapter 6:

The stories in Chapter 6 centered around the baby, who had been discarded by his parents without the simple courtesy of a name. But his mother had put an amulet around his neck before the announcement of his birth was made. He was going to be eaten by a monstrous sea snake when Gregor the immortal rescued him and killed the monster. Gregor named him Rex and raised him as his own son. He also trained him to be a swordsman.

Gregor taught him the ways of the witcher. He’d been born ahead of time, in an era where his kind were rather feared instead of being recognized as what they were. And Gregor understood this, which was why he showed him the ways of monster hunting. Very ironic as the citizens of Aurelia were gravely tormented by monsters, but couldn’t recognize God’s mercies when he sent them a monster hunter.

Chapter 9:

Rex was now twenty years old and Gregor felt his job was done. He also had another reason, as a conflict was brewing in the kingdom of Aurelia. Even though the monsters were detrimental to their general well being, building the great walls guaranteed a lasting peace. And it could be assumed that boredom had set in, as it was only if someone crossed the boundaries did the monsters attack.

Turned out the Templars, another branch of the Knight Alliance, who were stationed at a different area of the kingdom, had decided to challenge the Radiant Order. The Templars desired to replace them as the guardians of the North, especially as Sir Edmund, their commander, had no heir. The conflict had resulted in a cold war and the commander’s family was the ultimate target.

Part 3: Has the Rustblade Witcher Novel Been Turned into a Movie?

It should be interesting to know that there’s a vertical movie of the same exact title based on the Rustblade Witcher novel. It was created by ReelShort as a generative AI movie. Though it was only recently released, it already boasts of over five million viewers and hundreds of thousands of favorites and followers. One word to describe this medieval action drama is splendid, as while contemporary movies with human characterization could be captivating, generative AI movies tend to be ridiculously explicit.

The graphics are to die for. The royal medieval background has no rival. The costumes are amazing. The characters are well detailed and the lip sync is excellent. The movie showcased certain scenes which should have been impossible for human actors to recreate. As a movie of witches, magic and sorcery, the creators were over the top with accurate detailing and enthralling craftsmanship.

Part 4: What To Expect From Rustblade Witcher Movie

Rex, the main character of Rustblade Witcher, had been exiled from home at birth, forgotten as the dead and said to have been taken by a monster. Lady Cecilia, his mother, had gotten pregnant again and given birth to a daughter. But even though she saw the monster arise to consume her son, she prayed for his well being.

It had been twenty years by now and she never stopped believing. The Templars had arisen at this time and were taking turns to attack the commoners of the northern province. They were always on raids and the capital, where Sir Edmund and his family lived in a castle, had been over populated by refugees.

Which was why nobody noticed the black hooded monster hunter who walked among them. What do we expect? Especially as fate had led him to rescue Livia, his little sister, from some mages, and eventually led him to his father’s palace where he was cast out yet again, before the Knight Alliance discovered their blood ties and sentenced them all to be executed?
