Part 1: All About salt kiss Movie—Storyline and Details
Tristan Thomas, the main character of salt kiss movie, had just graduated high school when he succumbed to pressure and decided to sign up for the army. He was eighteen and because his family had raised generations of soldiers, it had become the norm for male children to follow their father’s footstep. He never heard the end of it at dinners where they encouraged him to sign up.
He met a young soldier named Jay during training and they’d served together for five years, before the war broke out between the United States and Afghanistan. Together, they were shipped to the front line, where the weather condition was terrible, no food or water, and because they’d lost radio contact following an explosion, neither reinforcements nor help was coming.
The bombs continued to drop relentlessly and before long, many members of the platoon were dead. And even though the circumstances weren’t favorable, Tristan managed to hold on to the hope that they could be spotted by satellite. But Jay went mad one of the afternoons and pulled out a grenade. He was begging Tristan to shoot him until he threatened to pull the pin and blow up their hiding spot.
He could never recover from the horror of pulling the trigger that killed his best friend. But help came calling about three days later and he was miraculously returned to America. His wounds were treated, he was resuscitated and when the holidays were over, required to return to the front line. Tristan had seen enough and swallowed the shame of it to beg his father for help.
The old man was presently a general in the army. He had an office at headquarters and his platoon was one of those he superintended over. Asking for a defect in the army was cowardice and his father was repulsed by it. But he would do his son this favour if he was willing to take up other responsibilities. Presently, a notice had reached his office that a mysterious billionaire required a bodyguard.
The assignment was his last hope else he would be forcefully returned to the front line. Tristan accepted the offer and followed the address to the given location. But today, he needed the help of a high ranking officer if he was to never return to the front line. And luckily, his father was a general.
He swallowed his ego when he pleaded that he used his authority to help him. The general wasn’t happy to hear it, which was why he threatened heaven and earth before offering him an escape. According to him, a mysterious billionaire was looking for a bodyguard. He was to take the job or go back to war. It was obvious that the old man didn’t want disgraceful rumors in his name.

And he would never father a son who was disgracefully discharged from the army, which would ruin the family’s generational history. The envelope that contained the details of this assignment had a location address in D. C, a mobile phone number and an email address. Apart from those, there were no proper introductions. Dress in his uniform and armed with a hand gun, he arrived at The Lyonesse night club, where he was directed to the CEO’s office. When he entered the place after knocking, the man was sitting on a rotating chair that was backing the entrance. And before he said a word, the man who later introduced himself as Mark Trevena, ordered him to kneel. It was an order he couldn’t obey.
