Part 1: Who Are The Cast Members In ReelShort’s Bound By Hatred Movie And What About Their Characters?
Gianna Scuderi (Played By: Christine Schlehuber)
Bound By Hatred vertical drama has Aria’s younger sister, Gianna, as the main female character. Apart from being the loving little sister, she is also the beloved bride to Luca’s younger brother, Matteo.
As a Scuderi family member, Gianna knows how effortlessly Matteo flirts and plays with women’s feelings. At the same time, she’s different from any other girl whom Matteo has flirted with.
Plus, like Matteo, she doesn’t enjoy being bossed around. For instance, she’s not afraid to call Rocco out and snap at him in public. She also steals Matteo’s knife while dancing and arguing with him.
Christine Schlehuber’s touch to Gianna’s personality makes the character leave a lasting impression on the audience! For your information, we can also see her playing the same character in another Cora Reilly universe-focused movie: Bound By Love.
Additionally, The Fashion Queen Returns also features her appearance. This ReelShort movie was her debut before she became well-known for the Bound By series.
Matteo Vitiello (Played By: Nate Flores)
Bound By Hatred isn’t something Matteo Vitiello thinks about when it comes to his beloved bride, Gianna. Like his older brother, he finds it easy to seduce girls and make them lovestruck.
In Matteo’s eyes, Gianna, who fights back while stealing his knife, is different from those girls. The fact that he’s the Famiglia’s God of Blades doesn’t even scare Gianna.
A part of Matteo wants to prove his beloved bride wrong and make her belong to him each time she fights back. We can also witness how he calls Gianna his Firecracker and flirts with her throughout their dancing moments.
At the same time, Matteo also arrives in time to rescue Gianna from whoever tries to rape her. As for the actor, Nate Flores, this movie is where he shows up as a heroic male lead.
He doesn’t show up much in Bound By Love or Bound By Duty. After all, those two movies portray Matteo as the supporting character. Yet, we can see the actor’s role in I Don’t Need No Alpha Brothers as the ungrateful mate.
Luca Vitiello (Played By: Rhett Wellington)
Bound By Hatred full movie highlights Luca’s role as Matteo’s supportive older brother. He has just indulged in his first night with Aria when he approaches Matteo.
He’s not just a source of inspiration for Matteo to chase the woman he loves. Instead, we can also see the two Vitiello brothers discussing their moments after Matteo parts ways with Gianna.
Luca has experienced the same resistance as Matteo does when he faces Gianna. Additionally, he also understands the demand that Rocco has put on Aria and Gianna.
Still, he shows his understanding and approval when Matteo proposes the idea of lying about the marriage plan. That’s when Matteo suggests that his plan of marrying Luca’s wife’s sister, Gianna, is to teach her some lessons.
As Luca’s behind-the-scenes actor, Rhett not only successfully brings his domineering voice tones to life. Instead, he also brings his calmer and more supportive side as the older brother in this movie.
That’s different from how he plays the same character in Bound By Honor, Sweet Temptation, and Bound By Love! For your information, he also plays in many other ReelShort movies, including Lucifer’s Bride and Rose In Chains.
Aria (Played By: Savannah Coffee)
Aria hasn’t taken the Vitiello’s name yet in the Bound By Hatred movie. At least, that’s what Gianna would like to believe. The Scuderi sisters know how their father forces them to marry the Famiglia.
Gianna also knows how her older sister, Aria, is forced and might never come out alive. Plus, she also knows how their father would make her marry Luca if her older sister disagreed.
Even when Aria finally agrees, their father uses a moving goalpost when it comes to Gianna. Either she marries Luca’s younger brother, Matteo, or she has to satisfy those creeps.
Meanwhile, Aria keeps becoming Gianna’s mission, especially when she discovers Luca locks her in. As the behind-the-scenes actress, Savannah Coffee plays Aria’s vulnerable sides well. We also love how she bids her farewell to Gianna in early episodes!
Savannah is also well-known for her role as Aria in Bound By Honor and Bound By Love. Other than those two Cora Reilly universe-based movies, she also tends to play the female leads. For instance, we see her in I Accidentally Sexted My Enemy and Nero Made Men.
Part 2: What Are The Stories We Digest From Watching Bound By Hatred Full Movie?
Bound By Hatred vertical drama stories begin when Aria hasn’t agreed to marry anyone yet. Her younger sister sees through it, and what’s more, she has also witnessed how the Famiglia treats other people.
So, she comes up with a plan to run away from the Famiglia affairs. She offers Aria to accompany her, and when Aria refuses, it’s time for her to free herself instead.
Yet, it’s not something easy when it comes to Matteo. Matteo not only keeps his eye on Gianna, but he also seeks the right moment. Once that moment comes, Gianna will belong to him, and he doesn’t hesitate to negotiate with people about it.
Gianna’s ways of fighting back against him while being willing to take his hands have amused him. The fact that the enemy’s team has constantly put her in danger also triggers his protective instinct.
As the Vitiello family’s second-in-command, Matteo knows how it’s all about Born In Blood, Sworn In Blood. He wants to protect Gianna while letting her know that they are always bound by rules.
What is it about the rules Matteo mentions that binds them despite their disregard for anything stagnant?
Part 3: What Do We Love About Bound By Hatred Cast Members’ Plays On Their Characters?
Bound By Hatred’s story doesn’t only focus on how Gianna and Matteo attract each other. Instead, we can also see how the cast members play the brotherhood and sisterhood elements.
Rocco stops being a decent father to the Scuderi sisters when he insists that they get married. Even the Famiglia boys know he doesn’t care about Gianna getting raped, and they use this knowledge to their advantage.
Thankfully, Matteo rescues Gianna while keeping his Born In Blood, Sworn In Blood moments. As for this part, we love how Nate Flores, as Matteo’s behind-the-scenes actor, plays the younger Vitiello’s heroic side!
Matteo is also a versatile fighter, which Nate portrays through his knife work. For your information, we can also see his similar fighting roles in the movie Bound To The Rebel Wolf.
Many of us also love Christine’s portrayal of Gianna’s core fierceness throughout the episodes. Her performances also make many of us identify with Gianna’s struggles, personality, and experience!
Another thing we love from this mafia romance movie is Rhett’s way of playing Luca’s personality. Here’s the movie that portrays his soft-hearted side without losing his personality as the domineering and intimidating Capo!
Part 4: Conclusion
Bound By Hatred full movie highlights the cast members’ best performances as their characters. For instance, actor Rhett Wellington brings out Luca’s hidden, soft-hearted, and supportive side. Meanwhile, Nate brings Matteo’s heroism as he rescues Gianna.
Matteo and Gianna’s love stories aren’t the only things we get from this Cora Reilly universe-focused movie. Instead, we also get to know how the Scuderi sisters and Vitiello brothers unite in force.
