Part 1: What Stories Do We Get From Bound By Hatred Cora Reilly Born In Blood Mafia Chronicles Book 3?
How Does The Book Focus On Gianna And Matteo’s Relationship?
Novel-wise, Bound By Hatred full movie Cora Reilly belongs to the Born In Blood Mafia Chronicles Book 3. It focuses on Gianna’s ups and downs with Matteo, whose older brother marries her older sister.
Gripping and high-tension are two words readers often associate with Gianna’s feelings for Matteo. Like in the movie version, the book version also shows Gianna’s unwillingness to get involved in the Famiglia’s affairs.
She has seen how Luca used to be someone her older sister, Aria, never knew. Yet, he doesn’t have any difficulty fucking her in a matter of hours. She even sees him and other Famiglia members torturing anyone they think of as disloyal.
The last thing she wants is to marry one of them. She feels the urge to rebel even more when her father insists that she should be the next bride.
Deep down, she wishes her relationship with Matteo would grow beyond just banter. However, she also has to remind herself that Matteo is The Blade. He’s not just Luca’s younger brother; he’s also the Famiglia’s second-in-command who can smooth-talk Gianna’s father.
Even when Gianna eventually flees to Europe and dates somebody else, Matteo spends six months looking for her. He’s obsessed with her, and even Luca can’t stop him from making Gianna his wife.
What Do The Readers Love About Gianna And Matteo’s Personality And Relationships?
Many people love how fiery Gianna and Matteo’s relationship is in Bound By Hatred novel. It’s full of enemies-to-lovers dynamics that readers find hard to forget.
Some readers are glad that Gianna and Matteo finally have their sequel in Cora Reilly’s third book. After all, they also appear in the Bound By Honor book that focuses on Aria and Luca’s relationship dynamics.
We thank Cora Reilly for not only describing Gianna as a different kind of Famiglia wife. Instead, the author also writes her struggles to put her feelings into words and actions throughout the chapters.
Gianna is feisty, stubborn, and not afraid to talk back. Such traits not only attract Matteo, who has gotten used to lovestruck-type girls. Instead, her personality also inspires us to bring out the best in the female lead in the movie version.
We also love how Gianna and her love interest, Matteo, continually express their love through banter! We can even notice some memorable quotes in this movie.
For instance, Matteo’s willingness to burn the world for his beloved Gianna not only sounds romantic, but also highlights his protectiveness.
Part 2: What Are The Stories From Bound By Hatred Cora Reilly Adaptation On The ReelShort Platform?
Cora Reilly’s universe never fails to amuse the ReelShort audience, and Bound By Hatred vertical drama is no exception. The first three episodes, highlighting Gianna’s rebellion against her father, successfully hook our emotions.
She is nothing like her more traditional and slightly fatalistic older sister, Aria, when it comes to their father’s demands to marry. If death is the only choice left after the forced marriage, she would choose it.
At the same time, she answers the hand of someone she wishes to avoid: Matteo Vitiello. She knows he’s Luca’s younger brother, who is well-known as the Famiglia’s God of Blades. Plus, he also doesn’t hesitate to use underhanded tactics to get whatever and whomever he wants.
Speaking of tactics, those things are what we expect to see in the movie. They are not only limited to Matteo and Luca’s discussion of lying about the marriage. Instead, Gianna eventually strategizes alongside Matteo to secure their projects and allies.
Like in the book version, Gianna’s runaways to Europe also become something that changes her. She used to demand that Matteo stay away from her. Plus, early episodes also portray her refusal to marry him.
However, we can only see the Europe part nearing the movie’s ending. That’s when Gianna and Matteo sit with another family, which turns out to be the enemy in disguise.
Instead of focusing on Gianna’s runaway journey, the movie focuses more on Matteo’s obsession with her. For instance, he doesn’t even hesitate to kill people in front of her for her sake.
Part 3: What Are Our Impressions And Thoughts About Bound By Hatred Cora Reilly’s Movie On ReelShort?
We love that Bound By Hatred combines the scenes from other Cora Reilly universe-themed movies on ReelShort. More specifically, watching this movie provides clearer pictures of Gianna’s reactions to Aria’s marriage.
The sisters not only hug each other before Aria spends her wedding night with Luca. Instead, they also continue to support each other as well as their husbands.
At first, we can relate to Gianna’s denials of her feelings. She has every reason to immediately return Matteo’s feelings from the start. Yet, her trauma from how Famiglia members mistreat one another is something she needs to get over.
Other than the forced marriage, running away and reclaiming freedom are two themes we associate with this movie. We see those themes in Gianna until the end of the movie’s episodes.
We also feel glad that this movie version also highlights Gianna and Matteo’s banter like in the book version! Such things spice up their relationships, just like the author, Cora Reilly, always wishes to try spicy foods.
Nate Flores as Matteo’s behind-the-scenes actor also enlivens Matteo’s playful bad boy side. That’s what we like, for it contrasts and balances Matteo’s personality with his older brother, Luca.
Aria might not get enough screen time in this mafia romance movie. Still, her use of guns against the enemy’s family and collaboration with her sister are things we can’t wait for!
Part 4: Which Platform Can We Use To Watch Bound By Hatred Cora Reilly Movie?
Bound By Hatred Cora Reilly not only serves as the third book in the Born In Blood Mafia Chronicles. Instead, it also emphasizes how Luca’s not-so-younger brother, Matteo, applies whatever he has learned since his childhood.
For Matteo, Born In Blood, Sworn In Blood, is his way to protect the one he loves, Gianna. The book readers have highlighted Matteo’s obsessiveness towards Gianna. It continues until he chases her for six months while she runs away to Europe.
Meanwhile, the movie highlights his loving, soft-hearted, and protective side. He’s still the obsessive guy when it comes to owning Gianna. He even discusses his strategies with his older brother, who ends up stopping him from seeing his beloved, Gianna.
Eventually, Matteo’s presence becomes something his beloved Gianna overthinks. Such things apply even when she gets panicky over his fatal wounds until she phones Aria’s husband, Luca. Find out more about their lovey-dovey scenes on the ReelShort platform!
