Part 1: Who is Lyra and What is Her Background in Beg All You Want Fae Princes?
Lyra — The Dragon Queen
Lyra was the adopted princess of the fae realm who got betrayed by the fae princes in Beg All You Want Fae Princes full movie. Compassionate, hard-working, and faithful, she upheld her personal duties with extreme loyalty. That involved fulfilling her obligations as Rowan and Kaleb’s future mate with so much passion.
She had done absolutely nothing to deserve their eventual betrayal. Right from the beginning of her relationship with the fae princes, Lyra had been on the virtuous side. Not only did she rescue them from danger ten years ago, she sacrificed a lot to help them rise to their position, as well.
She was the person behind the miracles in the fae realm. From their triumph against an all-out war years ago, to Rowan and Kaleb’s clean reputation as fae princes, up to their insane influence as potential rulers, Lyra orchestrated every glory, every success. But she never brought them up. Nor did she use those achievements to control Rowan and Kaleb.
She remained humble and willing to do more in Beg All You Want Princes Full Movie. Unfortunately, Rowan and Kaleb never even once considered to investigate their unexpected success. They basked in it as if they did by themselves. Their arrogance grew even more, and they became unapologetic about claiming the credit. Meanwhile, Lyra was reduced to nothing but their mate.
Still, Lyra didn’t call it out. If anything, she did another series of selfless acts, hoping that this time, Rowan and Kaleb would look deeper and recognize her worth beyond the role she played in their lives. But they never did. The only one who expressed deep-seated gratitude was Queen Gabriela, the fae Lyra trusted the most.
Although there was a possibility that their fates would have changed if Lyra revealed the truth early on, it slowly lose its relevance as she grew tired of waiting for Rowan and Kaleb to acknowledge her value. Which was why when they chose Blair over her, it didn’t surprise her that much because they had already shown her where she stood in their lives.
Part 2: How Does Lyra Becomes the Dragon Queen in Beg All You Want Fae Princes Full Movie?
The Mating Ceremony
Lyra becomes the dragon queen in Beg All You Want Fae Princes after Rowan and Kaleb cast her out of the fae realm. It happened on the mating selection ceremony. Every female fae who reached the right age had to line up for the Sacred Tree to declare their fated mates.
Although Lyra didn’t need it because ever since she arrived at the kingdom, she was destined to end up with Rowan and Kaleb. She only needed the confirmation of the Sacred Tree and the fae princes’ consent to take her. Once these happened, she could finally stand up as their official mate.
To her unexpected surprise, neither Rowan and Kaleb held their hand out for her in Shattered Bonds of the Fae Brothers. They walked past her, ignoring her presence, and looking for another female fae. Dumbfounded, Lyra couldn’t properly process their actions. Did they truly reject her? Or was it all a gimmick to ellicit a reaction from her?
Rowan and Kaleb proved it was true when they affirmed Blair, Lyra’s maid, as their chosen mate.
The Realization
Upon witnessing Rowan and Kaleb’s betrayal in Beg All You Want Fae Princes Full Movie, Lyra demanded an explanation. She was willing to pass it off as a mistake. They could call it as a mix-up and she would forgive them. All they had to do was take accountability and tell the truth.
Instead of providing the perfect reasoning, Rowan and Kaleb resorted to insults. They questioned Lyra’s worth. They called her an evil witch. They even compared her to Blair, emphasizing that Blair was deserving of their love because she was the kind of woman they wanted. Lyra had the right tools to debunk their accusations, but Rowan and Kaleb made it clear they weren’t interested to listen.
Fed up of having to prove herself over and over again, Lyra gave up. She refused to fight any longer. She severed her mating bond with Rowan and Kaleb and called it quits. To make sure she would never come back again, she accepted Valerius’ grim proposal, ready to risk it all again for a man who could love her without question.
Part 3: What Awaits for Lyra in Shattered Bonds of the Fae Brothers Ending?
Did the Fae Princes Regret Betraying Lyra?
Towards Shattered Bonds of the Fae Brothers ending, Beg All You Want Fae Princes became even more apparent in Lyra’s spirit. Before she accepted Valerius’ proposal, she envisioned the possibility that she might forgive Rowan and Kaleb if ever the circumstance arose. She may be vengeful, but she wasn’t that evil to deprive them the opportunity to redeem themselves.
Unfortunately, Rowan and Kaleb never changed. The second time she encountered them after she left the fae realm, they were brimming with arrogance. They accused her of so many horrible acts that she almost drove them to their deaths. She couldn’t believe that after she exposed Blair’s lies, they still think she was the perpertrator.
Instead of telling the truth, Lyra allowed them to dig their graves deeper. She didn’t correct their words nor attempt to defend her honor, something she would have done if she was the same naive and merciful Lyra. But her era of being kind was over. Once she felt disrespected, she would fight back, no matter who was in the wrong or right.
No wonder Beg All You Want Fae Princes eventually became her mantra. She lost interest in proving herself or correcting the narrative about herself. They could believe as many lies as they wanted, she wouldn’t care. For as long as she believed in herself, nothing else mattered. Even if that meant the fae princes regretted betraying her.
The moment they did, Lyra no longer felt obligated to entertain them. Valerius now occupied her mind, her soul, and her weaknesses, his touches becoming her new addiction. Rowan and Kaleb, on the other hand, became nothing but painful reminders of her mistakes, and the life she abandoned.
