Part 1: Get to Know Lulu and Her Healing Powers in Lulu the Little Goddess Bilibili
Lulu — The Abandoned Witch Turned Princess
Lulu the Little Goddess dailymotion drama introduced Lulu under a pretense that she was a little witch who was born with supernatural powers. There was a reason why her background remained mysterious. It was a way to let viewers guess if she was a witch or a little goddess sent by heaven?
Judging by her natural kindness and the type of magic she had, she could pass off as a goddess. She could talk to animals. She could resurrect any dead thing, bringing them to life with just a whisk of her hand. The most defining feature she had was her ability to see the light in every darkness.
Lulu’s innate optimism brought hope everywhere she went, and around every people she met. Unfortunately for her, not everyone had the capacity to welcome her idiosyncrasies. The villagers who cast her out were the primary examples. They let their superstitions cloud their judgment, leading to them attacking an innocent child.
Their mistreatment failed to dim Lulu’s light, though, in Lulu the Little Goddess Short Drama. For three years that she suffered insults and prejudices, she chose to be compassionate. She understood their intentions, explaining her side when it wasn’t even needed. To make her story more heartwrenching, she continued helping people, too. The very same reason they criticized her for were exactly what kept them alive.
Lulu had the chance to call out the irony of it all. But how could the voice of a little girl stand out in a crowd of angry men and women? Speaking up for herself would only fuel their rage further. Stripped with the rights to defend herself, she had no choice but to face the discrimination head-on.
Her sweet soul absolutely didn’t deserve the world she walked on. It was filled with evil, cruelty, and greed that consumed light in every step of the way. An innocent girl like her had no place in such a grim reality. For some reason, she felt even more motivated to inspire and help those in need.
