Royce Lundquist as Cole Summers
Royce Lundquist is an actor, director, and musician who previously stunned us with his role in the Queen of the Court movie. He’s back as Cole Summers in the Callsign Legacy movie.
Cole Summers was the son of ex-convict Rick Summers. Enlisted in the Navy as a janitor for seven years, Cole Summers was constantly made to believe he could never be a pilot or fly in real life. But he accidentally ended up completing a mission simulation, making him the only pilot who could save America.
But Cole’s true and unmatched talent put his life in danger when the evil politicians and billionaires wanted Cole to never be a pilot for their own evil agendas.
Emily Lisa Jones as Nightfall/Lieutenant Mina Rylanes
Emily Lisa Jones plays the kick-ass heroine of the Callsign Legacy movie. This stunning actress is also a director and producer. She previously starred in the movies “Bound to the Rebel Wolf” and “Chained to My Prison Guard” on ReelShort. She plays Lieutenant Mina Rylanes, callsign Nightfall.
Mina was a badass among the Top Gun pilots, who were all men. With her charm and resilience, she not only had the male pilots question their place in Top Gun trials but also emerged at the top of navy selection trials, going against the Giant for the ultimate clash.
Jose Rosete as Rick Summers
Next up in the Callsign Legacy cast lineup we have Jose Rosete, an actor, writer, and producer. He was born in Mesa, Arizona, on October 22, 1975. Following his dream of acting, Jose moved to Los Angeles, dedicating his life to becoming an actor. He’s featured in various vertical movies, TV series, shorts, and music videos.

Benjamin Watt plays the Navy Giant character, Gunnar Dubois. He was the son of Senator Toby Dubois, who wanted to own the Top Gun selections. With his father’s connections and support, Gunnar was the best, but only second, as Top Gun belonged to Cole Summers.

Part 2: From Janitor to Top Gun: Introducing the Callsign Legacy Movie Plot
Cole Summers, the Callsign Legacy main character, ever since he received an FA-18 Super Hornet as a gift from his father, dreamed of becoming the fighter pilot, the best in the world. For fifteen years, Cole Summers carried his dream and worked really hard on it. But his father, Rick Summers, finally returning from prison, made Cole feel not good enough, calling him weak.
But the truth was Rick Summers knew his son was the best pilot he had ever seen. His exceptional talent, however, would put his life in danger. Rick’s enemies would kill Cole Summers if he ever became a pilot.
So Rick Summers not only hid Cole’s pilot talent from the world but also from Cole himself. However, after seven years of working as a janitor at the Navy, Cole Summers took a chance on himself to see what he could become. After sneaking into a Navy Flight Simulator, Cole Summers completed a mission simulation successfully when even the top pilot on every base had failed.
With the enemy’s missile range ready to be running in three days, the CIA, who wanted to find a top pilot who could save America and the world, was stunned to realize a janitor had completed their top secret simulation mission. But believing Cole Summers had cheated, they put him on Top Gun Trials.
At the selection, Cole Summers is mocked by all who refused to give him a chance. Worse, his father, Rick Summers, tried to sabotage his selection by drugging him so he would fail miserably in front of Rick’s biggest enemy, Toby Dubois. Episode 1
Rick Summers was in prison for treason. Despite serving prison, he had managed to scrape by with a gift for his son’s birthday. Wishing young Cole Summers a happy birthday, Rick handed him an FA-18 Super Hornet, which can go Mach 1.8 and hold up to eight missiles. Overjoyed with his gift, Cole Summers was determined to follow in his dad’s footsteps and become the best fighter pilot in the world in the Callsign Legacy movie.
Fifteen years later, Cole Summers pulled off an unbelievable training set without an oxygen mask. But his father, Rick Summers, was no longer the kind of encouraging father he used to be. Ever since his return from the prison, Rick had been looking down on his son, treating him like he wasn’t good enough to become a pilot like he always dreamed of.
Episode 4
Agent Smith and Agent Jones were stunned when the unscheduled flight simulation started in the Callsign Legacy movie. They wanted to contact the CO to shut it down, not wanting to compromise the top-secret mission.
But they were taken aback when the pilot behind the simulation approached the death bend in seconds and completed the simulation mission successfully and even hit the target. Checking the database, the agent discovered the pilot behind the successful mission was Cole Summers, an unexceptional enlisted janitor in the Navy.
Not believing in Cole Summers’ ability to complete the mission, Agent Smith wanted Cole in the Top Gun trials, not willing to put the fate of the world in the hands of the janitor. And Agent Smith wasn’t the only one who had refused to believe in Cole. As Cole himself was determined, he wasn’t good enough to fly for real.
