Taking Down Benny Burton
Jane Valentine was married to Benny Burton, a B class shooter with gambling addiction. With his gambling debts piling up, Jane divorced him, not wanting Benny to ruin her daughter’s life. Jane left him without taking any alimony, so Benny wouldn’t come after their daughter, Rebecca.
But Benny Burton returned, refusing to leave Jane and Rebecca alone. He wanted money from Rebecca to payoff his gambling debts. However Jane refused to pay Benny, this led Benny threatening to show up every day to trouble her and even call the cops for safety violations.
Threatening to ruin her business and trying to come after her daughter, Jane Valentine didn’t hesitate to aim her gun pointing at her ex, going on full protective mom mode. But when Benny Burton overpowered Jane, Carl Oliver showed him who the true boss was.
Carl wanted Benny to leave Jane and daughter alone, so he accepted Benny’s challenge: an assembly contest. The rules were simple: the first one to dissemble and reassemble the gun and shoot first wins.

Jane Valentine’s father Lewis had taken a loan to build the Valentine Shooting range, with his land put as collateral. Having bought out the bank that had financed Valentine Shooting range, Mathew was Jane’s new creditor.
