Part 1: What is the Cohabitating Lovers Plot Summary?
The Cohabitating Lovers movie is a romantic-comedy drama about a runaway bride and a stranger who gets accidentally dragged into her mess.
On her wedding day, Corinne decides to run away. Still in her wedding dress, she goes to the apartment she rented in advance only to find Andre who’s also trying to open the door.
They argue over who the apartment really belongs to. Luckily, the owner arrives before things escalate. It turns out the owner mistakenly leased the same unit to both of them. Though they both paid in advance, Andre signed the contract first.
Desperate and with nowhere else to go, especially since her dad has likely cut off her cards, Corinne fakes being Andre’s fiancée. She spins a sob story about a lovers’ quarrel and even pretends to be five months pregnant. The owner believes her, and Andre is forced to let her stay.
Now that her housing problem is solved, Corinne turns her focus to work. Fortunately, Turn Tide, a rising advertising company, is hiring for a position perfect for her. As a former employee of the top firm, Carlton Group, she gets hired right away.
But fate has more surprises, Andre turns out to be her boss! After all the embarrassing things she did to him, his rejection is expected. Still, with Turn Tide in urgent need of talent, Corinne secures the job.
Now that they’re both under one roof and working together, sparks begin to fly. An office romance might even starts to bloom! Or a start of a corporate war.
