Aria survived at that time despite Hera’s commands to Kairos to hunt for the rest of Zeus’ bastard children. As for Kairos, that was the first time he disobeyed Hera. After all, he saw an unusual degree of kindness and empathy when he struck gazes with Aria.

Previous episodes even show how Aria tries to kill Kairos several times using her magical bows and arrows. Even when the two are inside the grim-looking forest, Aria ignores Kairos’ warnings. She is also about to let Kairos die when Kairos defends her against the undead.

However, Aria’s compassion makes it impossible for her not spare Kairos’ life. The first thing she does to the heavily injured Kairos is to evacuate him to the nearest cave. There, she sees the undead have cursed Kairos.

The first cure would be from her blood, in which she imbues it with the mantra. Then, Aria also proceeds to warm Kairos’ body as the second step of the treatment.

However, Zeus’ consistent shows of authentic feelings convince Aria and Kairos. He even respects Aria and Kairos’ wishes not take any of the gods’ superpowers. Furthermore, he also opens up his castle for Aria and Kairos to come at any time.

As for Aria and Kairos, the ending shows they embrace each other in front of Aria’s late mother’s grave. There, Serina joins them while pointing at the magical creature in front of Aria. We believe that’s the blessing for Aria and Kairos’ love union!

We believe such things are the movie director’s brilliant narratives. After all, Aria must enjoy her humanity despite having a goddess origin. That’s because she has no other close ones left, except for Serina, after her mother’s death.

The flashbacks of Aria’s mother’s death in Hera and Kairos’ hands hit us the most! At the same time, we feel the flashbacks necessary to build and strengthen Aria’s backstories.

We can also identify with Zeus as the Lord of Olympus and the goddesses romantically involved with him! After all, many of us enjoy Greek mythologies and how the gods and goddesses use their power for many purposes.
