Part 1: I Hate to Love My British Bad Boy Plot Summary
Hannah Morrow was a brilliant American student. She was so academically remarkable that she started winning scholarship awards from elementary school. This was a godsent miracle in the Morrow family, because, they were of the middle class and could never afford to send their only child to very good schools. But because she was placed on scholarship, Hannah could study.
It was in senior high that she started targeting a reputably amazing college, where it was rumored that the best minds studied. She would start forwarding admission applications, and when the management of this school accessed her educational history, they would also offer her a fully paid scholarship with feeding and accommodation as it was a boarding school.
Hannah would joyfully migrate to Europe and begin to study in Camden Prep. The school was just as its reputation insinuated. Everything was expensive and of top educational quality. But at the same time, it wasn’t really students with the best IQs who went there. Some wealthy British families who sometimes donated to the school’s management also sent their children there.
It was here that Hannah met a young man named Jamie St. Clair. From the sound of his name, viewers could already ascertain he wasn’t just an ordinary human. He was the first son of the St. Clair family, and this family ruled in the British parliament. This meant that even though Jamie wasn’t yet publicly remarked, if he should misbehave and get in the news, it would be bad.
Jamie had fought many battles to be the one to ask Hannah out, especially as she was a sensation among the generally wealthy young men of Camden Prep. Her excuses for Hannah’s intentions actually made some sense to Jamie St. Clair because his family had a long history of people trying to use them for money. He would publicly dump Hannah and make her a laughing stock in Camden Prep. She would also loose her scholarship, including all the incentives that had come with it and started to require menial jobs to sponsor herself.

Because Hannah was now identifiably the poorest student of Camden Prep, she started to work in the college’s kitchen, assisting the cook and serving tables. This was excessively fun for Bex and her group of friends. Nothing gave her more satisfaction than watching the American student serve her tables.
She made sure to worsen every situation for Hannah, treated her like the pauper she was. And because her lifelong crush had finally returned to being single, she would reach out to her family to acquire a betrothal to Jamie. This was very easily done because the St. Clair family and the Wimbles were friends and political allies. And thus, Hannah’s light dwindled.
She was serving tables by the school’s poolside one afternoon and it happened to be Bex, her new fiance and his brothers who were present. Truth be told, she was still nursing feelings for Jamie, but he wanted nothing to do with her and would embarrass her further by breaking the juice glasses on her tray. But because Bex was anxious, she would push Hannah.
They both fell into the pool and because she couldn’t swim, Hannah started to struggle. And to everyone’s amazement, Jamie would swiftly undress and rescue Hannah Morrow. He would also carry her to his dormitory where he warmed her up and helped to resuscitate her. When she came around, Bex busted into the room and informed her that she and Jamie were betrothed.
