When someone faces a series of reoccurring hardship, it is said that their Saturn came around. That something in the cosmos was happening that was against them. Part 1: I Shine Without Him Movie Summary
In the city of Shanghai, a family named Wolfe lived in a kingly mansion. The family was very wealthy and famous. They ran a pharmaceutical company named Wolfe Pharmaceutical Groups. They were so rich that they decided to adopt children from the orphanage. They already had about two children, who were adults and doing very well for the family. The first was a the CEO…
And the second son was an actor. But for whatever dividends they were targeting, Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe decided to adopt two young ladies. The first was named Alma Wolfe, she was already adopted and living in the Wolfe mansion when another young lady was adopted. Her name was Sirena and her adoption made her the last daughter of the Wolfe family.
All the children of this family were intelligent and industrious, the first daughter graduated from Yale and was the CEO of the family business. Even Alma and Sirena Wolfe who were the last kids, were champions in their different fields. Nobody knew it but Alma was psychologically ill. She’d gotten used to being treated like a princess as the last child before Sirena was adopted.
Sirena’s presence in the house started to divide the other family member’s affectionate attention. Matters were made worse when it happened that her birthday and Sirena’s were on the same day. She just couldn’t bear to watch someone else sharing in the things that used to belong to her alone. And therefore she started to make the home uncomfortable for Sirena Wolfe.
Her ultimate target was to murder the girl so she could return to being the only center of the family’s affection. This girl stopped at nothing, she would fake a fall and accuse Sirena. Sirena was sick with stomach cancer and she started to switch her medication with vitamins, and reported to the family that she was faking the illness. The home became extremely unwelcoming…
This was until Sirena decided to buy a grave where she could be buried with a good luck that would stop her from returning to such a family in her next life. But Alma had other plans, she would get the family to throw her out, have her friends kidnap her and bring her to the grave, where she murdered her in cold blood. Sirena Wolfe
Sirena Wolfe was the main character of I Shine Without Him. She was a girl of about 20, who was adopted into the Wolfe family at the age of 15. She never knew her actual parents and had lived in the orphanages as a child. She’d met a young boy in the last house before she was adopted. They’d shared something similar to innocent love until he was adopted before her.
After she was diagnosed with stomach cancer, she returned to the Wolfe family with the news, but every time she spoke out, the family members called her a liar. They said she was faking her illness, and would take intervals to faint. While in actuality, Alma was switching her meds and would eventually murder her. It was this young man who finally found her before she was reborn.
Alma Wolfe
Alma Wolfe was a female lead of I Shine Without Him movie. She was a girl in the same age range as Sirena. Matter of fact, their birthdays happened to be on the same day. Alma wielded the kind of power over the Wolfe family that kept them literally lusting over her, even though she was not biologically a family member. She was always so manipulative and opportunistic.
She would manage to secure the family member’s attention, including, Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe and all their biological children. This family only saw Alma, and Sirena only got the gifts she rejected. But nothing was enough for Alma if Sirena continued to breath and live within the Wolfe mansion. So long as she continued to live, nothing was ever going to be hers and she must die.
Eddie Grey
Eddie Grey was the male lead of I Shine Without Him movie. He was a young man of about 25yrs old. He was tall and handsome, the CEO of Grey Tech. He was 12yrs old when he met a girl named Sirena in an orphanage. She was 8 and had just lost her parents in a ghastly accident. It was he who took care of Sirena and without knowing what it meant, 12yr old Eddie fell in love.
He would develop such a protective approach towards Sirena and was very disappointed when he was adopted one year later. He tried to get his new family to also adopt Sirena but failed, and before he left, he would gift her some candies and a locally made bracelet. After graduating from the university and becoming CEO, he would go searching for the little girl he’d left behind.

I Shine Without Him episode 2:
Sirena Wolfe was visiting the family hospital today. She’d missed a few clinic sessions and had returned because she started feeling weaker. She’d previously stopped her treatment in the third year after the diagnosis that found out she had a stomach cancer. She had started saving the money to purchase a grave.
Even though there were chances of survival for stomach cancer patients, Sirena was living among a family that didn’t even believe she was sick, not to mention finding the best methods of treatment. Therefore, sirena knew she was doomed to die. And today’s diagnosis said it was at stage four and she didn’t have long to live.
I Shine Without Him episode 5:
What Sirena did was to go home and gather together the rest of the money she was saving for the grave site. She’d made sure to select the one that was blessed with the promise of never to return to the same family where she was dealt terribly. It was remaining a little to complete the payment. She took the money and headed downstairs.
But she was accosted by a young lady whom viewers would eventually identify as Alma Wolfe. This lady would push Sirena down the stairs as she enjoyed the site of her suffering. As the money scattered around the place, she would chase her down the stairs and make a claim for it. She said everything belonged to her.
I Shine Without Him episode 9:
As Alma fought over the money with Sirena, she overheard voices coming from the entrance of the mansion and understood that some of the family members were returning home. To the chagrin of viewers, Alma would pull up the already bleeding Sirena, grab onto her feet and started to weep.
She claimed she’d been pushed down the stairs by Sirena, beaten with a fire extinguisher and how the money belonged to her. This family members would refuse to notice that it was Alma who was bleeding and start immediately to punish her for trying to defend herself with the truth. And they would send her out.
