This ReelShort drama follows Karissa Reed, a college student who’s made a prisoner by her overcontrolling mother. Having never known her father, Karissa Reed suffered from a lack of freedom in the hands of her mother, Grace.
To escape her toxic home, Karissa Reed worked hard as she earned an NYU scholarship and finally found freedom at her college. Now all she had to worry about was how to save her college tuition and maintain her GPA, but Karissa’s life took a turn when her mother tried to get Karissa to drop out of college with the news of the mafia king’s release.
