Part 1: Miss You After Goodbye Plot Summary
In a world of the survival of the fittest, where it is those who have parents and family members that belong, a certain Niel Wade was unfortunate enough to have lost his own parents when he was less than five years old. When he became an orphan, he also became homeless. He was absorbed into the foster care system and from one orphanage to another until he became an adult.
While Niel had no inheritances, or trust-funds or any form of treasury, he was born a genius. Where other kids would have gone under because of their situation as orphans, his inner ability shun forward. He was reputed in his cheap schools as a straight A student. He had a dream, to one day study astrophysics and subsequently visit the moon.
It was funny to the other kids in the same orphanage, and sometimes the bullies punished him for it. But Niel never gave up on his dreams and after a lengthy, crash-course high school, he would graduate, move out of the orphanage as a result of the onset of adulthood and apply to study in MIT.
He showed so much genius during the endurance examination that he effortlessly aroused the curiosity of MIT professors in the department of Astrophysics. Even though he’d applied for the university, Niel had no money for the exorbitant tuition. But one of the professors decided to grant him an interview and it was after this exchange that he made him an offer.
Professor Thorne had a problem. His daughter was born with a condition that caused her seizures. The family had done everything to treat it, but so far, had failed. As she got older, the seizures achieved an embarrassing twist, as she could experience an attack anywhere. She’d seriously suffered because of this condition. Her childhood boyfriend had dumped her a few months ago and her demeanor was worrisome.
Therefore, if Niel Wade would agree to take care of his daughter, he would not only sponsor his academics but also make sure he found his forever family. Niel jumped at the opportunity and would eventually date Keira. Nobody said it would be easy and Niel had never had it easy before. Facing the world as an orphan had affected his growth in several ways. He’d grown up as timid, less confident and lower self-esteem young man. Life had unfortunately dealt him a hard one when he was orphaned at a young age.
In his wisdom, seeing as he was born a genius, Niel had figured ways through which he could survive and achieve his goals. Even though he was timid in major areas of life, he knew how to chase after the dreams of becoming more than an orphan one day. In chasing this dream, he’d gotten into MIT, graduated as a top astrophysicist, but rejected a job offer because of Keira.
Keira Thorne
Keira Thorne was the female lead of Miss You After Goodbye movie. She played the role of a spoilt little daughter of a prestigious MIT professor. The Thorne family had come into wealth through the professional field. This was a family that had produced, at least, three MIT professors in such an expensive and less competitive department as Astrophysics.
Keira had many problems, but money wasn’t part of it. Because of her condition, she’d been home schooled by the best teachers money could buy. But as she grew into a young lady, her health couldn’t allow her to live like every other young adult. This situation made her excessively bitter, and when her boyfriend broke her heart, Keira forgot how it felt to be loved.
Simon Whitefield
Simon Whitfield played a supporting role in Miss You After Goodbye movie. He was Keira’s first love. He was also one of the children born to MIT professors. He’d met Keira during a party that was held in the staff club when they were kids. And as they grew up, they discovered they could date. And because he was her first love, it was extremely difficult for Keira to let go.
She’d kept her condition secret, knowing how embarrassing it could be. She’d been operating on dumb luck whenever she agreed to go out together. As they became adults, she’d started expecting progress in the relationship and had attempted to do more, when she experienced a seizure attack in a restaurant where they went for lunch. And as a result, Simon broke her heart.

The assignment was to take care of Keira Thorne, but after one year of doing so, Niel would fall in love with her. He’d attempted to help her get over her ex…
But seeing as it wasn’t working, he’d decided to go ahead and propose marriage, with the hopes that one day, she’ll come to realize who it was that truly loved her. He didn’t even mind that she always took him to places where Simon was always present. And it was in his presence that Niel went on his knees and proposed to Keira. And simply to make Simon jealous, she said yes.

During the two years he dated Keira, Niel only heard stories about Simon Whiteman and saw him from a distance from time to time. And after their marriage became official, Simon would disappear from the city. The rumors said he went to study abroad.
