Bird Box is a 2018 horror thriller movie that is directed by Susanne Bier, and it stars Sandra Bullock, Rosa Salazar, and Trevante Rhodes in the leading roles. This film is based on the 2015 novel by Josh Malerman.
The storyline of Bird Box follows Malorie Hayes, played by Sandra Bullock, who is pregnant when the news of mass suicides spreads across the country. After a hospital visit, Malorie and her sister Jessica witnessed how the people had started to act suicidal.

As Olympia and Malorie go into labor, Gary, who had attacked the others at the shelter, went on to uncover the windows. Olympia, after being unable to prevent herself from witnessing the creature outside, ended up killing herself. Malorie went into hiding with the newborns. But Gary soon got overpowered by Tom, leaving him and Malorie alongside the kids the only survivors left.
Five years later, Tom and Malorie are raising the kids, Boy and Girl. Through a transmission from other survivors, they discovered a safe community. Hence they decided to leave home but soon got attacked.
While saving Malorie, Tom was forced to uncover his eyes. As a result, Tom, who was able to eliminate the attackers, ended up killing himself. Meanwhile, Malorie and the kids, all blindfolded, go down the river with a bird box to navigate their path.
But on their journey, the entities try to trick the innocent children. However, they finally make it through and reach the community. Malorie declares herself as the mother and names the boy Tom and the girl Olymphia before joining the other survivors.
