Truth is that Lily Pearson was not stupid. Unlike most women who happen to be desperately in love and seeking urgent commitment, Lily had many concrete reasons for the self-sabotaging actions she took in her relationship with the handsome young man named Adam. Lily Pearson was a young lady who’d followed the ways of sports in life. And because she started playing very early in life, people could trace her success from high school when she first became famous as the world record holder for the youngest tennis player to ever win the Grand Slam. She’d met Adam Parker during one of the tournaments she participated in in Germany. He’d competed under the men category, but had lost very early. The discussion had started off as someone who was in need of mentorship and subsequently coaching. And he’d started experiencing growth in his career before Lily’s mother fell ill and required a heart transplant.
Lily was doing well at the time, but she could not afford the surgery. She was weeping by her mother’s bedside when Adam rushed in with a solution. He signed a check to sponsor the transplant and proposed marriage to Lily on the same day. A girl’s prayer was answered and to reciprocate his kindness, she would resign her career to become the woman behind his success. Lily Pearson
Lily Pearson was the main character of Queen of the Court movie. Lily was born to a struggling family of an unfulfilled lawn tennis player and his beloved wife. Her parents loved her so much and she was her father’s best friend. Teaching her how to play had come as a hobby to Mr. Pearson, but gradually he saw that Lily could succeed where he failed.
He’d managed to start investing in purchasing some of the things she needed to succeed and would eventually become her first coach. Lily had made her father’s dreams of traveling abroad come true when she started flying all over the world to play tennis. But he’d given birth at old age and would pass before she went to college. But Lily was already a trail blazer by then.
Adam Parker
Adam Parker was the male lead of Queen of the Court movie. He was a very handsome young man, in fact, it would seem that he relied on his good looks as is remarkable with men such as himself. He was also a tennis ball player, how be it, one who was struggling in his career. Before he met Lily Pearson, he had not recorded any quality wins not to mention international ones.
But Adam was a man who knew exactly what to do to get what he wanted. Not that Lily was his only target as she wasn’t the only successful superstar who’d attended the tournament in Germany. But she was the one who listened when he first broke the ice, especially as he’d tried with several other superstars both male and female. Having gotten her attention, he’d set his game in motion.

Queen of the Court episode 2:
Lily was playing in a torment today and the stadium was full. The atmosphere was intense and people wondered if she would last the hour following the breaking news last night about her mother’s battle with a terminal disease. She was playing with a fierce foreigner and everyone was anxious.
But Lily effortlessly defeated her challenger to receive yet another trophy from an international tournament. Her coach was so proud of her that he leaped from his chair, ran into the lawn and gave her a hug. But Lily would disappoint everyone when she announced during the follow up interview, that she was resigning.

When she explained she was retiring to become a full-time coach to her boyfriend, her coach tried to advice her but as stated earlier, nobody can advise another in the matter of the heart. Lily’s mind was made up and viewers would come to understand when she recalled Adam Parker’s last visit to the hospital.
She’d been kneeling by her mother’s bedside when the doctor announced the diagnosis and proffered solutions. But the solution involved the exorbitantly expensive transplant of a heart. Her mother was precious to her, because as a child born in old age, they were the only family they got. But there came Adam with a check of one million dollars and a nice engagement ring.

Adam’s sacrifice had come at such a convenient time that it seemed he was sent by God himself. It wasn’t just about how his actions could grant her mother a few more years of being alive, it was the passionate show of affection… this was more commitment than most married couples experienced on daily basis. And when he knelt and proposed marriage to Lily, people were moved to plead for a yes with him. His eyes were so puppy-cute that there could be no evil intentions hiding in his heart.
