Matt Wolf, Derek’s son, had instructed his team to ensure there’s no delay in flight takeoff and no harm done to Shaun Gray and the kidney.
With the world’s biggest arms dealer’s life on the line, Shaun Gray held onto the kidney box as he boarded the flight. He was scheduled to be picked up by Ada Cain when he landed, who would soon get Shaun to the surgery.
Derek’s life was ticking, and Shaun Gray anticipated the takeoff as he waited patiently. But Jessica Hansen held the whole flight, refusing the flight attendants to take off as her mother, Kim, was not on board yet.

However, Jessica was too self-absorbed and selfish to understand her actions were causing trouble to others. So in a desperate attempt, Shaun informed Jessica Hansen that he was carrying a kidney and a life depended on him making it on time.
Just when you think Jessica might show some basic human decency, she stunned everyone by trying to buy the passengers by throwing money at them.

Jessica had delayed the flight and humiliated Shaun Gray and all other passengers. Yet when her mother was dying, Shaun Gray saved her life by being the bigger person. Shaun Gray, attacked by Jessica Hansen, was saved by Ada Cain in the Countdown to Life Rescue at 30,000 Feet movie. But Jessica, refusing to believe they were part of the Wolf family, decided to follow them from the airport and attack them alongside her brother.
Erik Wolf also supported Jessica Hansen’s actions as he brutally attacked Shaun and Ada. As a result, Matt Wolf had to come in person to save Shaun Gray and Ada. With Matt revealing Shaun was carrying a kidney meant for Derek’s surgery, the revelation finally strikes—Shaun was telling the truth. As Matt Wolf saved Shaun and Ana, he vowed that Jessica would never marry Erik.
Despite the troubles and drama, Shaun wasn’t going to give up on Derek as he successfully performed the surgery.
