Part 1: Tell Me Not to Love You Movie Summary
Brie Ellison was born to the chief maid of the Langford family. In the first five years of her birth, she was raised by her grandmother. But after she passed on, her mother had no choice but to bring her to the Langford estates, where she could combine raising her with remaining productive at work. On arriving, she took her daughter to be introduced to the family.
This was where Brie and Teddy met for the first time. Teddy was about eight years old at the time, and had been eating sweets while keeping his mother company in the estate’s living room, when Ms. Ellison walked in with her very pretty daughter. Teddy was so attracted to the little girl that he proposed marriage to her at once. The sound of it was disturbing to his mother.
She would caution him with such words as, “we don’t marry the help.” Mrs. Langford wasn’t wrong as the societal gap was too much and there was a lot to keep from the press.
