Part 1: The Art of Letting Go Movie Summary
Olivia Lloyd was a beautiful young woman who had gotten married to the love of her life immediately after she graduated college. She was living in the big city with her husband and all was well until their five years marriage anniversary. There’d been a new development, her husband had started keeping the company of the first daughter of a very dear family.
At first, Olivia had thought nothing of the sudden closeness. She’d even turned a blind eye, as the relationship had brought some noticeable change in her husband’s countenance of late. When she’d attempted to complain about it, he’d reassured her with how the lady herself was married to one of his close friends. The excuse was that she was going through a hard time…
Henry also added how he owed it to her family to take care of the girl. Olivia had no reasons to doubt her husband. It had been five years living together as husband and wife, and she’d never encountered any suspicious reasons to doubt him. Therefore, she’d permitted it so long as he returned home to her regularly. This was until the night of their five years marriage anniversary.
She’d dressed in the outfit he’d once purchased for her during their honeymoon and had prepared his favorite dish. She’d also decorated, purchased candles, flowers and scented ornaments. And had sat in the living room waiting for his usually timely return, but he never came. At around midnight, she heard the door open and there he was arm in arm with a lady.
It had been over three months since Henry started seeing Chloe for more than usual, but not once had he brought her to his matrimonial home. He was drunk and tired, and Chloe was pretending to help him home. And on seeing Olivia in the living room, she mocked her and teased Henry about having a house maid. And thus, a battle ensued over a married man’s heart.

Henry Lloyd was the male lead of The Art of Letting Go movie. He was a very handsome young man. Not only was he handsome, he was also very attractive. He’d gotten married to Olivia five years ago simply because he loved her. But it would seem that this love could have grown cold in the initial five years of marriage, when the white flame of love always happened to dwindle.
Henry Lloyd forgot he was a married man. He threw all of the married men’s code of conduct to the winds when he chose to constantly be seen with a woman who was not his wife. He was her errand boy, her present help and everything… and while he was at it, he could never notice his actual wife. He was a man who was not sure of himself and would pay dearly for his mistakes.
Chloe Thompson
Chloe Thompson was the second female lead of The Art of Letting Go. She was the tigress of destruction, the almighty home breaker and the husband snatcher of this movie. She played the role of the kind of women who had enjoyed their lives excessively, making terrible and self detrimental choices, who only realized their mistakes when it would seem to be too late…
But Chloe wasn’t the kind to accept failure. She was rather the kind who would figure out ways to continue and would do anything to get whatever she wanted. She never had a chance at love, it would seem she was excessively unfortunate in the matter. And because of this, she was jealous of what Olivia and Henry built together. And would stop at nothing in trying to destroy it.

The Art of Letting Go Episode 2:
Olivia was at home suffering disappointment. This was after she’d cooked her husband’s favorite meal, had also dressed and decorated to please him. But after his usual arrival time passed on the clock, all the excitement had gone out of her. Yet she’d sat and waited, only to be surprised…
He was drunk, tired and hanging on the shoulders of a very pretty lady. She was going to say something, as the lady wasn’t a stranger to the family. But the lady spoke first and addressed her as his maid. This was a turn of events as things never remained the same again…
The Art of Letting Go episode 5:
After two days of seeing her husband with Chloe Thompson, Olivia was standing by the roadside, just a few paces from her office building. She was waiting for a taxi and trying to go for a lunch break, when she was shocked by the presence of an approaching Chloe Thompson.
She would ask if she was looking for her husband, as by now, everyone knew she’d become his side chick. But Chloe says no and started to challenge her over her own husband. The last thing Olivia heard was, “who do you think Henry would run to if we were both in trouble…”
The Art of Letting Go episode 9:
Chloe also added, “…who do you think he would believe?” and the next second, she pushed her into a moving vehicle. This was something Olivia would never have believed if a prophet prophesied. What could have happened between them to lead to such extreme measures. But alas, Olivia had not a clue…
To further buttress her claims, Chloe bent over where Olivia landed on the ground and was bleeding profusely. She dipped her fingers in her blood, painted her face and dialed her husband. And when Henry arrived, he didn’t even notice Olivia as he rushed Chloe to the hospital.
Part 4: What You Can Learn From The Art of Letting Go
The Art of Letting Go movie has a lot of lessons to teach. The first and most important is that Henry Lloyd was wrong in his choice of being anything whatsoever to a woman who was not his wife after he’d gotten married. His actions led to the destruction of everything he shared with his actual wife, both emotionally and otherwise.
