Part 1: The Deal of Love Movie Summary
Cora Zeller was born to the Zeller family as an only child. The Zellers were the most influential family of Shanghai. They ran hotel and events businesses and their outlets littered the top cities of the country. Not only did they own the most expensive five star hotels, their event houses were also rated five stars. Cora was raised by loving parents and also the apple of her fathers eyes.
She was tall, pretty and bookish. Because she was shielded, she wasn’t knowledgeable in the ways of men. And due to the fact that she was timid, she was regarded as a nerd in all her years as a high school student. When Cora arrived at the university, she met a young student named Mark. Unlike Cora, Mark was from a middle class family, who were laboring to raise him as their hope.
He was his parent’s retirement plan and they were selling properties and making other difficult sacrifices to see him through the university. Cora had gotten into the habit of hiding her identity in senior high school, after she was caught in a squabble with Joey Wade, who was the heiress of the Wade family. They were two rich girls with different priorities and Joey liked to show off.
In the attempt to be constantly different from Joey while also avoiding petty competition, Cora had decided to tune down on her luxurious activities, and gradually she’d stopped taking pride in her status as a heiress. Because of this, she’d automatically started hiding her identity from her new boyfriend —Mark. And while she went to lectures from home, Mark lived in the boy’s hostel.
This was because he had no relatives or any roots in the city and had only migrated for academic purposes. But Cora Zeller owned half of the city. Cora Zeller
Cora Zeller was the strong female lead of The Deal of Love. She was about 19yrs old when she met Mark York. Conversations with him had been filled with the cover ups she’d intentionally developed after her quarrel with Joey Wade. She’d claimed to be the daughter of an ordinary restaurant owner. The story had been funny, and she’d meant to change it later but never got around to it.
As their relationship grew, Cora saw more reasons to continue to hide her identity. Especially after she refused her family’s decision to get her married to the heir of the Yates family and present CEO of Yates group. It was good that Mark was ambitious and had actually started a business in the space of two years her father had given. Cora left her personal career to help him grow.

Mark York was the male lead of The Deal of Love movie. He was the beloved son of a professional shoemaker and a general vendor business woman. She and Cora Zeller had a lot in common and more often than not, rolled in the same circles within the city. Joey was Cora’s lifelong rival. They’d met as kids in kindergarten and had carried their rivalry all the way to the private high school they went to.
But while Cora had gone to the university in Shanghai, Joey had traveled abroad. She’d only returned to town after graduating in the same year as Cora.
