Part 1: The Eye of Wealth Movie Summary
Because she was desperate, Lauryn Torres would connive with her step mother to set her husband up in the most appalling manner. She’d been married to a young man named Vincent Rogers for a little over three years. While she was the heiress of the Torres family and the impending CEO of Torres Group, Vincent Rogers was a nobody and an orphan.
They’d met in the years when Lauryn was trying to fix up her dormitory apartment at the state university. Vincent was the handy man on call, because he’d made alliances with old students to recommend him if anyone needed a carpenter. He was living with other group of boys in a small ghetto apartment and took jobs where ever he found one and someone had called.
What Vincent did not have in wealth or charisma, he had in his physical appearance. He was a very handsome and attractive young man. Which was how he’d been able to acquire and sustain Lauryn’s attention. The dating period had been so enjoyable that as soon as the wealthy young lady graduated with her MBA, she proposed to marry him immediately.
At this point, Lauryn wasn’t considering statuses, she was simply in love and excessively happy. Vincent was also happy, because this was a change of destiny. He’d somehow gone from living in a ghetto to being married to the heiress of one of the most powerful families of Pune. As her husband, he lived in the Torres mansion, ate luxury foods and didn’t have to work another day.

Lauryn Torres is the female lead of The Eye of Wealth movie. She was a woman of about 27, a combination of intelligence, power and charisma. She was the only child and heiress of the Torres family and would become a CEO at the age of 26. Lauryn wasn’t the kind of woman to mess with, as the reputation of the Torres family preceded her and they were a no nonsense.
She’d fallen in what she thought was love with a handy man from her days as a university student, and had gone forward to marry him, but would be seriously bored in the relationship over the course of three years. She would break every rules of marital conduct in her bid to be rid of her live-in husband. And would divorce him without anything only to regret it later in life.
Vincent Rogers
Vincent Rogers was the main character of The Eye of Wealth movie. Unlike the high and mighty of the city of Pune, including the woman he’d been opportune to be married to, he was an orphan. Which meant he was a nobody, no powerful last names, no trust funds, no money and definitely no luxury lifestyle. He’d grown up on the streets of Pune struggling with the homeless.
But Vincent had something he didn’t even know about. While he thought he must have been abandoned by parents who didn’t want him, he’d actually been living under the watchful eyes of a powerful cartel. He didn’t know them, but they knew him and on the occasion of being divorced without a penny, and thrown back into the streets, he would be found by his family.
Tobias Watson
Tobias Watson was a supporting character in The Eye of Wealth movie. He was a powerful man who ruled the underworld of Pune. His organization was the largest and he’d built a reputation that was feared in certain quarters and reverenced in another. While he ran illegal underground businesses, he was also the CEO of Grand Group, but he was getting old and very ill.
Because he was dying, Tobias Watson needed to raise a successor. While he’d been blessed with everything money could buy, he had been unlucky in the matter of love and was never able to give birth. He’d had his eyes on a promising young man who had the same features as himself. His name was Vincent Rogers. Not only did their eyes glow alike, he was his nephew.

The Eye of Wealth Episode 2:
A beautiful lady dressed in Victoria Secret’s lacy lingerie could be seen luring a handsome man into a bedroom. While her eyes were open, the man had a blindfold on. It was obvious they were having a foreplay, but it was shocking that another lady stepped into the room and she left them together.
The other lady was Vivian Bell, she was Lauryn Torres’s step mother and the woman who’d just exited the bedroom, leaving the aroused young man to her, was Lauryn herself and this was her husband of three years, on her marital bed. While Vincent remained blindfolded, Vivian would do Lauryn’s bidding when she took her place on the bed.
The Eye of Wealth Episode 6:
It had been months of inexplicable, consistent squabbles with his wife. And they’d stopped having sexual activities a long time ago, therefore, last night was more than Vincent could dream of. But he would wake up and take off the blindfold only to discover that the woman he’d spent the night with was actually Vivian.
You can imagine his disgust and his feeling of being violated. But he was yet to recover from the share shock of it, when the door busted open and Lauryn waltzed into the room accompanied by her bodyguards and bearing a prearranged divorce agreement. Before he could open his mouth, Vivian ran up and claimed she was raped.
The Eye of Wealth Episode 11:
As it was a set up, Lauryn was satisfied with the outcome and would present the divorce agreement to Vincent. And as he tried to protest, she decided to throw him out, back to the streets where she’d picked him out. It was really devastating and the young man would be seen on the walkway bearing only the clothes on his back.
But Vincent swore he would make the Torres family regret everything they’d done to him…and as if the universe heard him, he would watch as a convoy of Rolls-Royce approached his position and screeched to a stop. He recognized the symbols on the cars as belonging to the King of the underworld, a man known as Don Watson. What could the Don want with him?
