Lieutenant Ryan Cross was the front-line hero who single-handedly wiped out a terrorist zone and saved countless lives of Americans by giving up his. Ryan Cross died in the line of duty after being injured on the front lines, with reinforcement arriving too late. As the nation thanked him for his brave sacrifice, the woman he loved, his wife Alice Vega, was planning to marry another man.

The Ghost of You and I plot introduces Lieutenant Ryan Cross, who was the true American hero who took down the terrorist organization of over 300 members single-handedly. But while saving his comrades, Ryan Cross lost his life on duty. Although only his body turned cold as his soul found itself beside his wife, Alice Vega, as he returned as a ghost.
Ryan Cross had loved Alice Vega for five years and had been married for five years. During their marriage he was nothing but loyal, dutiful, and caring. He selflessly always prioritized Alice over him.
In The Ghost of You and I movie, to save Alice’s life, Ryan had also donated his kidney to her, but his sacrifice was unappreciated by Alice.
Worse, Alice Vega misunderstood Ryan as a cowardly opportunist who’s trying to marry her to impress her father. This misunderstanding left Alice Vega’s heart cold as she longed to reunite with her first love, Jason Lang.
