Ivy Charles

She’s the youngest daughter of the Charles family and obviously, the safest, and most convenient choice to be the representative in a business marriage. They forced her to build a relationship with Michael and be of use to Hart’s empire.
Having no distinct control over her life, Ivy had no choice but to accept the order. For years she put up with the abuse, mistreatment, and unfairness mainly orchestrated by Michael and his mother. She endured the harsh judgment and bullying because she thought she was investing in a good, promising future.
Every effort she exerted was useless, though, as Michael still deemed her as incompatible and worthless. Fed up, Ivy decided she will no longer accommodate any of their bullshits.

Cindy

She’s a minor character in the drama. And yet the actor did a good job in establishing a clear, singular presence on screen. She managed to mix and swell our emotions every time she opened her mouth.
That alone is a testament of how effective, and elaborate her acting was.

Many might deem Ivy and Hector’s relationship as inappropriate and totally uncalled for. But acknowledging such forbidden attraction allowed them to re-discover themselves.
Ivy was originally fueled with rage and thirst for revenge when Hector came into her life. It was never her intention to consider using his influence, his control, and his authority over Michael (her fiancé). He was the perfect tool to make her revenge successful.
Considering his impact and power spanned throughout the country, Ivy stood a better chance at winning if she stayed by his side. His sour relationship with the Hart family was an advantage, too. She knew he wouldn’t make any move to betray her nor even acknowledge to let Michael have the last laugh.
The day she slept with Hector, she already decided Cindy and Michael would go down.
