Part 1: What’s the Story of Violet and Marcus in Love at Dangerous Speeds?
Love at Dangerous Speeds movie follows the compliant Violet, a girl willing to get married without actually falling in love just to please her mother. Ever since her father died in a terrible car accident, her actions have been meant to bring joy to her mom and fiancé.
But Violet gets a cold wake-up call right on her wedding day. She catches her fiancé cheating on her and the man even dares to lay his hand on her to protect his mistress.
Running away from her abuser is no easy task for Violet, as everyone is watching her every move, but she manages to get into Marcus’ apartment. Although he’s a stranger to her, a hot one, I might add, she’s asked him for help to escape her fiancé.
Marcus appears to be annoyed with being interrupted from his late morning sleep, especially since he’s been dealing with a hangover. He helps her though when he sees Violet all disheveled. After misleading her fiancé about her whereabouts, Marcus borrows some clothes from the girl so she can escape.
He still seems to be annoyed with having her in his hotel room, but his irritation disappears as soon as he sees her naked back covered in bruises. Without a second thought, he helps her escape and even takes her home to her mom.
