Turns out the creepy woman and her husband, whom Erin meets in the previous episodes’ basement, are Erin’s actual parents. Erin only figures this out when her so-called parents say that she is not their daughter.

The bloodied parents only reveal the truth after Erin snaps by saying they are never her parents. Erin has seen how her so-called mother slits the so-called father’s throat until he returns as a corpse. Meanwhile, the previous episodes highlight the treatment she receives from them.

They forced her to take her blood while saying that she is a sacrifice, just like her actual parents. These spooky adults’ antics reach their peak when they put Erin inside a large animal cage. Meanwhile, they threaten to take the lives of Erin’s actual parents if Erin hurts them.

The fake parents might have threatened Erin, but Erin has grown her fearlessness at this point. So, she stabs her real mother to inflict wounds on the fake mother. Then, she jails the fake mother.

One month after the Thanksgiving tragedy, Erin finally lives a peaceful life with her mother. She bakes her mother a nice cherry pie. Even though her mother is now blind, at least they have so much fun!

We also love how Erin insists on going to the basement floor. Her adventure, the goosebumps and jump scares, and the entire horror elements make up the movie’s attractive points!

A Thanksgiving moment should feel merry, because here’s where the extended family gathers. At first, Erin might not get why it’s only her and her parents. Erin also senses something strange in the way these two adults speak to her about the basement floor.

Yet, we also agree Erin reserves the right to believe what she sees and experiences! We are glad that she surmounted her bravery in the end. She gets what she wants, and that’s a beautiful reunion with her mother.

The cherry pie moment, as the movie’s epilogue, feels heart-warming to us! It shows Erin no longer needs the fake parents’ guilt-trips. They are ghosts, and they should remain that way, especially when the fake mother is jailed!

At the same time, stories about Erin’s baby sister deserve another sequel. As for her stories, they could involve a time-skip of several decades after the horror Thanksgiving stories!

The fake parents can frighten or intimidate Erin all they want in We’re Your Parents full movie. They even isolate Erin from the outside world and cause her to fight on her own.
