Part 1: Woke Up Married to My Crush Plot Summary
Summer Cele and Vincent Reeves met as kids at the little village elementary school. Because the village was little, it wasn’t too hard to understand that Vincent and Summer were boyfriend and girlfriend.
This was until Vincent’s parents perished in a sudden flood while at the farm. When it was time for college, Summer convinced Vincent to come along, said how they’ll work together to create a better life than they’d had growing up.
They got accepted into college and seeing as Vincent had nobody, Summer began to share her little pocket money with him. Until she started working, doing two jobs to sustain the two of them. When the tuition increased, Summer began to sell her blood all to carry the responsibility Vincent had become.
She wasn’t complaining, nor did she understand that Vincent was a liability. She was simply happily doing what she could to help the love of her life. The plan was to get married after graduation and immediately after they got good paying jobs in the city. But unbeknownst to her, Vincent was receiving her money, while dating a girl from a rich family in the same college.
After graduating, Vincent did get a better paying job through his rich girlfriend and Summer started working as a journalist. It was finally the time to get married, but Vincent continued to give excuses until he finally informed Summer about who he was getting married to.
Summer, on getting back to her feet, demanded a refund of all the money she’d spent taking care of and accommodating him. As if there were any amounts that could completely repay such a debt. But Vincent repaid her with showing up with his fiancé, calling her names and letting his fiancé throw the money at her.
This was happening at a public restaurant, where Christian Norton Jnr was supposed to meet his grandmother to introduce his fiancé. But the lady had stood them up and when Summer bumped into Christian and his grandmother, Christian declared her his wife to be.

Summer Cale
Summer Cele was a pretty young woman of about 25. She was the main character of Woke Up Married to My Crush. She was born in a small village and even though she went to college, she remained the reserved woman she’d grown up to be. This was partly as a result of living with Vincent.
Seeing as Vincent was constantly in the habit of never having money. Never able to get a menial job like she was doing, she’d rented an apartment and allowed him to move in with her. Being naive and innocent, she was a prey to the predator, never asking questions and never grew suspicious of her boyfriend’s lies.
She was the trusting type that never looked beyond the little boy she’d fallen in love with. Just as she continued to be reserved, she was absolutely convinced that her boyfriend was doing the same for her. Which was why she never stopped helping him.
Vincent Reeves
Vincent was not the male lead of Woke Up Married to My Crush movie. But he was the character of Summer’s ex-boyfriend. Vincent was a gamer. He’d learned to swindle as a result of losing his parents at a young age. Swindling his way through life wouldn’t have been terrible, but the fact that he couldn’t make an exception for his lifelong partner was terrible.
While he was finding ways to be getting money, he continued to allow Summer suffer in his stead. He continued to accept her hard earned money… including the ones she made through selling her own blood. Vincent was ruthless, and his ruthlessness showed mightily in the method through which he broke Summer’s heart.
Answering Summer’s invitation, where she’d hoped he would come begging and trying to fix things, only for him to arrive, holding his fiancé bridal style and letting her reign insults on Summer, who retaliated with pouring hot coffee at her.
Christian Norton Jr
Christian was the male lead of Woke Up Married to My Crush. He was a handsome 30 year old young man. He was the sole heir of Norton enterprises. Even Vogue rated him the youngest tycoon of Wall Street. He was renowned for his wealth and reverenced among his peers. The high street ladies of Wall Street would kill for his attention.
For such a reverenced individual, his girlfriend —Helen Hanks, had stood them up when he invited her to meet his grandmother at the restaurant. The woman had been disturbing him about getting married, she was threatening to die faster if he didn’t give her a grandchild.
When Helen refused to show up, it wasn’t just an insult to Christian, it was a spit on his grandmother’s face. Therefore, Christian decided to do something. A miracle had brought a pretty looking lady to pass by them, he grabbed her and introduced her as his fiancé.
