In Divorced A Hockey Star Chose His Biggest Rival, nobody knows Riley Monroe’s family secret: her father owns the NHL. Riley coaches her husband’s Falcon team to a massive victory, earning respect as both a brilliant coach and a hockey heiress. Her husband, NHL star Jace Donnelly, has also become the team’s MVP. During an interview, he even places Riley at the top of his thank-you list.
Riley never expects her beloved husband to start caring more about the team doctor than he does about her. Cassandra uses sickness and minor injuries to pull Jace away from his wife, and he falls for it every time. He carries Cassandra around and tends to her every need. Then the man who once treated Riley with love shoves her so hard that she miscarries. Even after losing their baby, Riley is accused of cheating on him.
That is enough for Riley. She divorces Jace, rebuilds her career from the ground up, and grows closer to another rising hockey star—Jace’s biggest rival. By the time Jace understands what he has lost, Riley has already moved on. His regret comes far too late.
