Plot of After He Rejected Me 99 Times, I Chose the Lion Heir
After chasing Grant for fifteen years and proposing ninety-nine times, Sloane finally gets the ward her family raised to agree to bond with her. On their bonding day, he leaves her waiting in ceremonial dress from dawn until sunset because the steward’s daughter’s puppy is hurt. That is the last time Sloane waits. She asks Rowan once. The powerful lion heir, who once wanted her, arrives before Bond Hall closes and becomes her mate. Grant later insists no other man could ever want her, until Rowan walks into Hartwell Manor and says, “I’m Sloane’s mate.”
