Adeline, the Alpha's sister of the Mooncrest Pack, was cherished since childhood by Dante, Ridge, and Silas. Yet because the three of them conspired to fake falling for Mira, she suffered neglect and pain. In despair, she volunteered to marry far away into Wintervale, where she fell in love with her fated mate Hayes and bore two children. Three years later, transformed beyond recognition, Adeline returned home. Only then did the three confess the deception and beg for her back, even attacking Hayes. In the end, Adeline severed all ties with her past, choosing to protect her mate and family—leaving those who hurt her to live out their days in regret.
